Thomas's POV:
Gally has been allowed to stay inside Homestead tonight rather than in the Slammer after last nights Griever attack. Even though Y/N clearly hates Gally, she decided it would be best for him to be with the other Glader's. They couldn't afford to loose anyone else to the Grievers. I notice that Y/N has been awake all night, watching Gally's every move since he entered the Homestead, with Newt lying down next to her, fast asleep. I quietly and stealthily tip-toe over to Y/N and bend down next to her. There are large, blue bags sitting under her eyes from the lack of sleep. I sit down next to her, leaning my head against the wall that separates the Homestead from the toilets. Chuck and Minho are fast asleep next to Newt, with Alby snoring away near our feet.
"Hey...Why don't, ya know? Get some sleep?" I whisper to her, she looks completely and utterly exhausted.
"I can't, Tommy. I have to keep an eye on Gally, he's not trustworthy." She demands quietly.
"And don't try to stop me from staying awake, Alby will kill me if I stop watching him. Even if it's just for a second..."
"Ok then, I won't stop you. But if you need to sleep, I'll keep an eye on Gally, all right?" I tell her, resting my head on her shoulder gently.
"Alright Tommy, but you look like you need more sleep than me." She chuckles lightly, she makes my stomach jump when she laughs. I can't help it, her laugh is just so soft and sweet. Just as Y/N begins to say something, Gally strides over and grabs my shirt, lifting me into the air.
"Don't. Touch. Her." He spits angrily onto my face, throwing me into the wall. I scream as pain shoots up my spine. It's very clear Gally doesn't like me, not one bit. But I'm not entirely sure why. I stand up slowly to see Y/N is already in front of Gally, her dagger pointed at his chest with her other arm out in front of her body, in order to defend herself if Gally attacks. I grab one of the Banishment Poles from the wall and hold it horizontally, the end just scrapping at the wall.
"Gally, calm down, ok?" Y/N whispers, trying to reassure him, but it doesn't work.
"I can't calm down! They're coming for all of us! They'll take one of us every single night! Until no one is left behind! We're all gonna die here!" He screams, causing Newt, Minho, Chuck, Alby and Teresa to wake up abruptly. They all shoot up into a standing position, weapons at the ready. Gally runs towards the windows, pulling off all the wooden boards that are protecting us from the Griever.
"Gally, no! Stop this!" Newt shouts at him, his sword drawn and ready to attack.
"No! I won't stop Newt! They're going to kill us all anyway! So why don't they just take us all at once?!" Gally yells, pulling down more boards from the windows. He then points his long, bony finger at me.
"Don't you get it?! It's all his fault! You hear me Greenie?! This is YOUR fault!!" He yells at me.
Within seconds, a large, metal arm has grabbed Gally around his waist and has pulled into the frame of the window. Minho and Newt rush and grab his arms, fighting against the Grievers metallic strength. Alby suddenly screams, running at the Grievers claw and hitting it with his sword.
After many strong hits, the claw falls  to the floor, along with Gally. An injector needle rolls and lands at my foot, I reach down slowly and pick it up.
"Careful with that Thomas, that thing has caused more harm tha..." Alby begins, but before he can finish his sentence, another Griever claw has wrapped around his waist, pulling him upwards and through the roof.
As the Griever struggles to pull Alby through the hole made in the roof, I scramble up from the floor and grab his arms, struggling to pull back him down to the safety of the Homestead. He looks down at me, I can tell that he is not scared, he looks more angry than anything else as he struggles to fight for his life against the Griever. He pants heavily.
"Get... Them... Out, Thomas! Y/N! Get them out of here!" He yells at Y/N and I, before he is pulled through the roof of the Homestead and out of my grasp, never to be seen again.
I hear Y/N's crying scream as she crashes down onto the cold, stone floor behind me. I hear her screams and her tears hitting the floor, echoing through the Homesteads walls. I turn to see Newt rushing over to her, pulling her into a squeezing hug. I watch as Newt try's to comfort Y/N as she punches her fist against the floor, sobbing. I see Newt in tears next to her, attempting to hide his tears in front of her as he mourns the death of his leader and his friend. I watch as Minho hugs Chuck, his little body shaking with tears, I watch as Minho is beginning to cry alongside Chuck. I watch as Gally falls to the floor, placing his head into his knees and sobbing into them. I see Teresa staring up at me, her eyes filled with tears. She didn't know Alby very well, yet she is still feeling pain over his death. Tears sting at my eyes as I let go of the roof and land on my feet on the floor.
The last thing I hear is Alby's dying scream before the whole Glade turns silent. Everyone in the Homestead is now awake and staring at the massive hole in the ceiling.
I rush outside of the Homestead, kicking down the main door and step out into the Glade. I hear Newt, Chuck and the other yelling at me, telling me not to go outside, but I already am. I scan the Glade, searching for any signs of Alby. All the buildings are in flames, the kitchens, the Council Hall, Y/N's hut. Everything is being engulfed by flames. Gally walks up to me, pushing me onto the ground.
"See what you've done Greenie?! Look at what you and that girl have done!" He screams at me, pointing at me and then at Teresa.
"Everything was going just fine! Until you showed up here! And then everything began to change!" Newt, Minho and Chuck grab a hold of Gally, pulling him away from me and into the doorway of the Homestead.
"He might be right..." I think to myself, making sure Y/N can hear me loud and clear, "This might be all my fault, I have to remember what happened..."
I hear Y/N's soft and enchanting voice inside my head, worry echoing though it;
"Tommy, don't do it! Don't you even dare think about doing it!"
I ignore Y/N completely and jab myself in the thigh with the Griever's sting that's inside the thick, metal cylinder. I hear muffled shouting all around me, the Glader's screaming at me to stop. Everyone, except Gally. I hear Y/N's voice inside my head, screaming at me. My head throbs with pain. I collapse down onto the floor, pain rushing through my entire body. The surroundings begin to become blurry and blacken. Everything is quickly engulfed by darkness. The last thing I hear is Y/N's voice inside my head, screaming out my name;
"Tommy! How stupid are you?! What have you done?! Tommy!!"

Hey guys!
Hope you enjoyed this chapter! The ending of this chapter was definitely based more on one of the scenes from the film rather than the book. However, the beginning was more or less like the book.
The next chapter will be about Thomas remembering what he did before the Maze and who the Creators are that out them in the Glade. That should be coming out tomorrow!
Also - sorry for the late update! I've been ill all day so I've been sleeping for ages, trying to pass the sickness! That's why the chapter is so late out! Also - sorry that it's so bad, I'm still not feeling 100% right now!
Anyways, I still hope you guys enjoyed it!
See ya guys later!
