I stired lightly, shifting around in the bed trying to make myself comfortable. I was slighly aware of a body breathing next to mine, and my eye lids fluttered open slowly. Gage was sound asleep. His arm around my waist protecivley, his hand resting on my hips. I shifted and sat up slowly, careful to move his arm from my waist without waking him up. Gage stirred in his sleep and moved towards me a tad, resting his head on my shoulder. I moved my hand towards his chest, placing my open palm over his heart. He smiled and kissed my sholder, which was sticking out from under my sweatshirt.
"Are you awake?" I asked, even though I knew he was awake already. He smiled with a light chuckle, his body shook next to mine, vibrating as laughter filled his chest. I glanced over at the window and sighed, would we be on the road today? Or would we be stuck in the hotel room once again. Why do you care, don't you want to be alone with Gage? I bit my lip, sure I wanted to be alone with him, but every time we ended up alone something would happen, either it ended in tears, sleep and not normally what two young people being alone would end in, sometimes I wondered what would happen if we went that far, but then I decided I didn't want to think about it.
Gage shifted following her gaze towards the windows, the curtains were drawn keep the faint light from the sunrise from coming through them. Gage let his hand fall to the side, letting me get up from bed. I slowly moved towards the curtains and pulled them back, and my stomach dropped. The parking lot was filled with water, it's color was distorted and looked as if somebody had opened up a pen and let the ink seep into the water. I was slightly aware that Gage was no longer in bed, but was slowly creeping up next to me.
"Doesn't look like we are going to be heading out," I said trying to sound upset about it, truth was being stuck in a hotel room with Gage wasn't the worst of things. Actually, I didn't think it was bad at all.
