Dreamlanders
That's what they call themselves, but they gave them the dreaded name, Rogues.
Dreamlanders never saw themselves as dishonest or unprincipled, in fact they were too honest for their Alpha's liking.
They have broke some rules, but only because they disagreed with them. Dreamlanders believed they should've had more rights. Those rules prevented those rights. This banished them from their packs and they were pushed to the outlines of society.
They became outsiders.
However, they made their own society and community, by starting their own pack. Where they gave themselves the name 'Dreamlanders'.
They were stronger and had more freedom than your average pack. You could say their rules were more flexible, but this didn't mean their Alpha, Hazel Larson, didn't have control.
The Dreamlanders believe they are on the land of dreams that came true.
Hazel is the granddaughter of the originals of the Dreamlanders. She is determined, strong and confident. Never backing down a fight. However, most of all she is stubborn and determined to protect her pack whatever the cost.
However, she hasn't met her mate yet and its been two years or so since she turned eighteen. Hazel knows he's not part of the Dreamlanders, or she would've met him by now. Making her worst fear come true. He was else a human or a Lycan from another pack, that didn't play by the same rules. This fear whirled around Hazel's head everyday, but she had already made her decision.
She would reject him.
It was final. Hazel wouldn't abandon her pack, that her family took years to build. She couldn't let them down. As Alpha she can't make selfish or irresponsible decisions that would affect more than just herself.
Quinton, however would do anything for his mate. He feels the missing piece in his life, that piece that you can't find to finish the puzzle.
Of course, Quinton would protect his pack at all costs, but his mate means that little bit more.
Quinton assumed his mate was part of another pack, unless she was human. But that's a slim chance.
Quinton porter is intimidating, but a real softy. Although he can't show this side of him. Simply, because he is a leader. He needed people to fear him and follow his orders or the pack might crumble like an old brick wall. Quinton is the hundred and eighth Alpha of Dustfall pack, since it began. He has big boots to fill, as his father was the best leader they ever had.
He didn't want to fail his pack.
Quinton has looked up to his father his whole life, and when he was little all he wanted to do was to be in his Father's role. Yet, it was harder then he originally thought.
It is more than just giving orders like he witnessed his father doing. There was paperwork, decisions to be made and plans to be organised.
It's all part of the job description.
