Hazel clips her hair away from her face and adjusts the dress slightly. The dress was a black romper with a low v-neck, the lose sleeves fell just above the elbows, there is a delicate tie around the waist and a long trail that falls behind the romper.

She slips on a pair of black sandals, she looks at herself in the mirror.

I hate dresses. I'm doing this for you, mum.

She brushes her hair back behind one ear, fixing the dress at the shoulders, she turns around, striding out of her room. Hazel looks over the landing in the hallway, the party was already buzzing and the loud music echoes through the empty halls.

Stepping down each stair slowly, making sure not to slip and fall. Everyone stops and looks towards their Alpha. Hazel greets them all with a bright smile and gestures them to continue to party. Hazel does a quick look over her pack and her eyes land on her mother, who throws her head back in laughter.

Hazel reaches the bottom of the stairs and happily smiles at everyone as they move to let her past, she then finds herself beside her mum.

"Happy birthday mum," Hazel pulls a large smile, her mother turns and Hazel pulls her into a hug.

"Thanks hun. Where's your father?" Her mother asks, raising her eyebrows.

"I'm not sure. I thought he was with you."

"Don't matter. He'll show up. You look absolutely gorgeous," her mother grins, causing wrinkles at the edge of her eyes and around her mouth. Her mother is stunning, even at fifty. Hazel is the spitting image of her. Her mother has short brown hair and the most contagious smile, that lights up the room. Hazel's mothers eyes shine a bright glistening blue.

"You look beautiful as well," Hazel puts a hand on her shoulder. Her mother wore a dark purple cocktail dress, that was off the shoulder and down to her knees. "I'm going to get something to drink," Hazel excuses herself and disappears into the crowd.
