Quinton moves his head to the right. His head is pounding and his whole body aches. His eyes flutter and they burn from the bright light. He groans and goes to sit up. Finally realising there was something on top of him- or someone. "Your awake finally!" Hazel cheers dryly.

"Huh?" Quinton looks at his surroundings and realises he's lying on the ground in the hallway. "What happened?"

Hazel shoves his arms off her and stands up. "You have no idea how long I've been stuck there." Hazel dusts herself off and stretches out her aching arms.

"What do you mean?" Quinton asks sitting up. His whole entire body aches and is head thumbs loudly as if someone was hitting it with a mental hammer. He brings a hand to his head. "Ugh, my head."

"Yeah, well you did black out after getting super drunk. And you just happened to take me with you," she mumbles in annoyance.

"What do you mean 'I took you with me?'"

"It means you blacked out while hugging me and I have been stuck on the floor for the last three hours! Thank the moon goddess that Lycans recover from drunkenness quickly!"

The lock of the door clicks and creeks open, both of their heads whip round to see Ezra. "You!" Hazel shouts, causing Quinton to wince and Ezra to chuckle. Hazel quickly stomps over to him and whacks him across his chest.

"Ow!"

"You don't deserve any sympathy! I've been stuck there for the last three hours, you prick!" Hazel shouts. Quinton holds his head. The pain was much, much worse now than before.

"It's called revenge," he grins.

"Revenge?"

"Yup," he pushes past her and offers Quinton a hand. Ezra pulls Quinton to his feet, Quinton continues to hold his head.

"Revenge for what?" Hazel asks.

"I'm never drinking again," he mumbles.

"That's what we all say," Ezra ignores Hazel, and claps Quinton on the back.

"Wait, so... Hazel you've been lying on the ground with me for three hours, because I was holding you?" Hazel nods, crossing her arms. "Why are you mad at Ezra then?"

"He was there when it happened, BUT he went to training LEAVING me here. Stuck!" Hazel glares at Ezra, who pulls a mischievous smile.

"I'm sorry Hazel it was very unprofessional of me," Quinton apologies. Hazel sighs.

"I hate you," Hazel mumbles under her breath.

"So... when were you guys going to tell everyone your mates?" The room falls dead silent. Hazel and Quinton not daring to make eye contact. "Wait don't tell me you weren't going to tell anyone?"

"We haven't discussed it," Hazel cuts through the many thoughts Ezra is having. Hazel gets annoyed quickly, and hates when people ask questions that she doesn't want to answer.

"Are you not even going to try to be mates?" Ezra gives them an odd look, his eyes bouncing from Quinton's face to Hazel's.

"No!" Hazel replies. While Quinton remains silent.

"What about Quinton? How do you feel about this?" Ezra and Hazel turn their attention to Quinton. He just stares at them. He knows exactly what he wants. He wants Hazel to be his mate. He wants a relationship with her, but he also wants to respect her wishes too. The only problem they both want two completely different things.

"I don't know."

"Look Ezra, this has nothing to with you," Hazel throws her arms up.

"Yes it does. Firstly, Quinton is my best friend. Secondly, he's my Alpha making you my Luna," Hazel shoots him one more glare, before storming off. Throwing one of her hissy fits once again. Hazel- clearly- gets easily annoyed.

"Ezra your an idiot."

"What? It was the honest truth," Ezra replies with a shrug. "Look Quinton, she's breaking your heart and you know it."

Quinton rolls his eyes and walks away into the kitchen. Ezra follows after. Quinton grabs a glass cup and fills it up from the sliver tap. His whole throat was dry, his mouth is like sandpaper, his lips are all cracked like bark. He takes three big gulps from the glass. He honestly felt rotten. Quinton is very much hungover.

Ezra starts blabbering on about Hazel and this whole situation. "Dude shut up. My head is pounding," Quinton sets the glass on the counter and begins to rub the temples of his head. "Hazel and me won't happen till at least after this war is over. Shut your mouth and stop complaining. We need Hazel and her pack if we are ever going to destroy Hays."

Ezra nods, with an eye roll. "Fine, but know I don't like her."

"Believe me I know," He slumps in his chair. A frown set in his face.

Quinton knows soon everyone will know. It's quite obvious when two Lycans are mates. It's not hard to spot. The only thing Quinton is worried about is... if everyone does find out, how will he explain to his pack if Hazel does reject him? How will he face them? How will he tell them that it will be one of his nephews that takes over the pack, instead of his own child?

How will he explain it all to them?

Everyone is bound to find out, especially since Quinton spent most of his time with Hazel when she was injured. But he just can't help it. Quinton has feelings for Hazel, that's growing stronger everyday.

It's only a matter of time till he can't hide them away anymore.
