Its been a couple days, since they split their armies in half. With each day gone by, war is one step closer. At this point, both alphas had warriors scattered around their territories. They would be able to alert them or defend the weak of the pack, if an attack was to occur.
Quinton was making his way back to the Dreamlanders to discuss the war plan. He still hadn't figured out who the mole was in his pack and he was getting frustrated, because of this he has to hold information from his pack members. He was normally quite honest and open about things in his pack. He didn't like keeping them in the dark.
He arrives at the boarders of The Dreamlanders territory. They didn't have a high wall and a tall gate like Dustfall did. However, Hazel had many warriors scattered around the land, guarding and protecting. They left the car, deciding to walk the rest of the way. Quinton wanted to know Hazel's land better. Maybe even talk to some of her pack members or his own, to find out how they are getting on being part of the Dreamlanders.
Quinton and his third in command, Ezra walked through the thick forest. They walked for about five minutes, before Ezra spotted two people leaning against some trees. "Quinton over there," he points to the people about ten meters away.
The two people prepared themselves for a fight, as they heard footsteps running towards them. The young man went to pounce, but saw his Alpha standing beside the tall tree he was originally leaning against. "Alpha Quinton," he breaths tilting his head downwards. The girl beside him stands and watches. She had no idea who Alpha Quinton was.
"Zed, how are you getting on being part of the Dreamlanders?"
"Uh... I actually really like it. This is Faith, my mate," Zed looks over to his mate with a huge smile. Faith looks back at him, smiling also.
"Congratulations on finding your mate," Quinton nods his head.
"I was wandering if -ugh- I could stay with the Dreamlanders and become part of their pack. I want to be with Faith and I really enjoy living here, so we decided that I could move in with her. Would that be alright?" Zed asks with a hopeful expression.
"Of course," Quinton felt a bang of jealousy in his stomach. Everyone else gets to be with their mates, why can't he?
Faith jumps with joy and pulls Zed into a hug. "Thank you Alpha Quinton!"
"Is the pack house that way?" Ezra asks them both and they nod.
"We would take you, but we have to stay at our posts," she smiles.
Quinton and Ezra make their way through the trees and towards the pack house. They approach the building, but are stopped by one of the guards. The guard leads them into the pack house, and up the stairs to the door of Hazel's office. Quinton could hear laughter and chatter on the other side. He knocks lightly against the wood three times.
