Stephan texts Jake at torts class.

He never remembers to pay.
Jake has vivid memories of the time Stephan begged him to buy a much needed PlayStation 4 at one in the morning. Swore to pay him back later too.
He can't help wondering why Stephan needs more today. He bought last week too. How many can he possibly use in a night with Theresa?
Is it wrong that he wonders these things? He's never given a moment of thought to Stephen's other conquests. But with Theresa, they're all over the place and regularly into the early hours.
Jake has begun to sleep at his brother's when he knows she's planned to come over. Stephan's singularly loud - sounds that replay in his head during morning classes.
The only way to get sleep is to avoid meeting her.
Jake firmly believes by now he only has a figment memory of the brunette that regularly sleeps over in the other room.
