It's only one week later that Stephan arrives back in town. This week proved to be very unemotional for either of the parties that remained in NYC.
The first concern in Stephan's mind is the upcoming college reunion meeting at Puzzle's Bar. And the appointment with May that afternoon.
This 'May' business is beginning to perk up Jake's interest. It's not the first time his friend's mentioned this woman, but despite the many faults Stephan posses, Jake refuses to believe he would be that big a jerk to Theresa.
"Right, I'm off Jake. I'll stay the night downtown at a hotel and just pop into the office in the morning for my call."
Surely he staying the night out has nothing to do with this May, she must just be a work colleague.
