"Please do indulge me in how school life is!"

Theresa smiles at her mother's curious expression, it's something she wishes she got to see more. "It's all the same mum, nothing really changes."

"Nonsense, each year of medicine must bring its own weird stuff and interesting facts for you to tell me more about."

"Granted, I'll tell you all about it if you're really interested then, let me just go to the toilet quickly."

It's only once she's about to wash her hands that she hears a cell phone ring. It can only be one of her, her mother does not have one.

"Mum – I'll be right there no need to pick up!" Theresa can only hope her frantic shout is enough to deter her mother from the 50% chance she picked up a black cased phone.

The water's pace is gruelling out of the faucet, and she's halfway out the door still with the towel in hands.

"Oh yes Sophie, she's definitely told me that before. I just wonder how you girls get by with this –"

Relief cannot be understated. Her mother turns to her adorned with a winning smile, her right hand clasping one Arctic Monkeys case.
