RECAP:

"Justin..." Elianna starts, knowing the answer to her question already. "Who is this?"

He gulps, not looking away from the woman in front of him. "This is Lilly Parker. Kameron and Elena's mother."

As the statement leaves his lips, Elianna finds her heart dropping into her stomach. Although she had already known in the back of her mind that he was going to say it... she wasn't prepared to hear it. And there was only one thing she could now think.

What the hell happens now?

Book 2. Chapter 1.

As if on cue, the front door opens, allowing Mama Lee and the children to walk inside.

Justin looks to her.

"They were already almost home. I'm sorry." she tells him.

He nods. "Mama Lee take the children upstairs please."

She nods, rushing the children upstairs and most likely into their rooms.

"I'm sorry to interrupt. I've really got to get going." my mother says, walking into the room.

Elianna nods. "It's fine mom, I'll call you later."

She nods, sending Justin a soft grin which he returns with a nod and leaves the house.

Elianna gulps after a moment of silence. "Alright. Well, I um... if you'll excuse me I'm going to go check on the kids."

Justin nods, not taking his eyes off the woman in front of him. "Good idea baby."

Gulping, Elianna scoots past the both of them, climbing the stairs and walking into Kameron's room where he sits on the bed, staring at his feet.

-Elianna's POV-

"Kam?" I ask softly, trying to get his attention. "Honey are you okay?"

He sighs, nodding as I crouch down in front of him.

"You don't have to lie to me bud." I tell him, giving him a small smile. "Talk to me."

He sighs heavier now. "Does this mean you're gonna leave?"

Her eyebrows furrow. "What?"

"I saw my mommy." He frowns. "Are you going to leave us?"

I lick my lips. "Do you want me to?"

"No!" He exclaims, looking up with a panicked expression.

"Okay. Okay." I nod, trying to calm him.

Honestly, I don't know what's going to happen.

"I don't plan to leave, Kameron. But remember not everything goes the way we want them to. I may end up leaving but I hope I will not. And even if I do I want you to remember that I love you, your sister and your daddy very very much." I explain to him. "Okay?"

He nods. "Okay."

"I'm going to go check on your sister and Brayden okay?"

He nods.

"You can play bud."

"I know. I don't really want to right now."

"Do you wanna watch Paw Patrol?"

His face brightens immediately. "Yes please!"

"Here." I grin, grabbing his tablet and starting an episode.
