Waking this morning was peaceful for only a second... until I remembered what today is.

After eating breakfast at approximately 10:30am, my friends start getting their hair then makeup done. RIght before I begin to get mine. Soon, the photographer arrives, taking photos of us getting ready and me having the final touches put into my hair and makeup.

Elena runs around, already in her dress and her hair in the style I had chosen. She talks to the girls in the room, laughing with them and expressing how excited she is.

Soon, it's time for the 'first look' photos causing me to go with the photographer.

I approach Justin, who has his back to me although I can tell he's more handsome than ever. His hair perfectly styled, his tux perfectly fitted.

Smiling and taking a deep breath, I make sure the photographers are ready before reaching out and touching his shoulder gently.

Slowly, he turns with a smile on his face, immediately starting to tear up a bit.

"Aw." I coo, reaching up to grab his neck and hug him tightly, the smile on my face growing.

"You're so beautiful." he says, wiping his eyes and pulling back to look at me again. "Oh my gosh."

I laugh lightly, smiling.

Soon enough, we separate and make our way to the venue.

Before i know it, my father walks over, offering his arms.

"Ready?" he asks.

I nod. "I'll never be more ready."

He smiles, nodding and leading me to the doors.

I hear as everyone stands, the music begins and we begin to walk, listening to the 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as I pass by. Soon, I make it to Justin, kissing my father's cheek and moving in front of the man of my dreams.

"Please be seated."

The room is filled with sounds of people sitting before he speaks up again.

"On behalf of Elianna and Justin, I would like to thank you all for being here this afternoon. For taking the time and making the journey, and for all the effort that it takes—not only to be a part of this day, but to be a part of each other's lives. Elianna and Justin have invited you here to this beautiful place to show you a glimpse of an important piece of their love. Whenever we attend a wedding, we are given the opportunity to reflect on our own relationships. We might look at the couple before us and be tempted to compare their love to the quality of our own relationships. The truth is that every relationship is as unique as the individuals in it, but one thing holds true: For love to exist between two people, each person must allow the vulnerability of giving his or her love to the other, and each must be open to receiving the other's love in turn. Therefore each of us is a powerful creator of love. Each of us, every moment of every day, has the choice to dedicate ourselves to one another or to withhold our love and caring. If you ask couples who have a strong and abiding love what they like most about their partners, many will say when they are with that person they don't have to pretend to be anything other than what they are. They are able to express themselves without fear of being judged or rejected. There is room in the relationship for both of them to be unique individuals. They are free to surrender to the vulnerability of true intimacy—to be known and loved unconditionally."

He pauses, looking around the room.

"At this time, Elianna and Justin would like to take a moment of silence in honor of those who are not with us today."
