Elena stuck to my side, I walk around the kitchen, trying to get dinner ready. I check the chicken in the oven, making sure that Elena is behind me as I do so. Deciding it needs a few more minutes, I close the oven again and make sure the steamed veggies on the stove are done before taking them off the heat and splitting them on mine and Justin's plates. Next, I finish the mashed potatoes and put them on my plate, Justin's and the kids. Once taking the chicken out of the oven, I cut it up for the kids and put it on their plates before also serving us.

"Dinner's ready!" I call out, hearing Brayden and Kameron run to the kitchen.

I place Brayden in his high chair and Elena at the table. I then set the plates in front of them, each kid receiving chicken, mashed potatoes and grapes instead of the veggies since they won't eat them anyway. I give them utensils and let them begin eating as Justin enters the room.

Elena whines, staring down at her food.

"Baby, you got eat." Justin tells her, kissing her head.

She whines before taking a piece of chicken and putting it in her mouth.

"There ya go!" Justin encourages, grinning before grabbing his own plate from my hand. "Thank you baby."

I hum in response, sitting with him and starting to eat.

After dinner, Justin goes into the living room with the kids and I clean up, wanting it to all be done efficiently and to my liking.

"Babe, can you take Elena and bathe her and put her in our bed to sleep? I'll finish this up for you." Justin says, entering as I'm almost done.

I sigh, nodding. "Yeah, just put the dishes away and wipe down the tables. That's all that's left."

He nods and I hand him the towel before grabbing Elena from the living room where she's whining and taking her upstairs. After she's bathed, I lay with her in our bed until she's asleep. When she is, I exit the bedroom to notice Justin has the boys in the bath, giving me the perfect opportunity to shower... which I do.

After my shower, I brush my hair and teeth, get dressed and leave the bedroom to see Justin putting the kids to bed.

I say goodnight to them and walk downstairs with Justin before sighing.

"Movie before bed?" he asks, grinning.

I nod, grinning and getting comfortable on the couch with him. We turn on the movie and start watching although before the end credits roll, my eyes flutter shut and I fall asleep.

-Two Days Later-

With Elena still not feeling well, I had asked for the day off, which Justin approved, of course. I asked mama Lee to watch the boys for the day while I spend the day in bed with Elena, getting up to get her things and obviously do other essential things.

By the time 3pm comes along, I find Elena asleep next to me, making me get up and silently make my way downstairs. I make myself something to eat before enjoying the food and entering the living room where the boys are.

"Mama!" Brayden exclaims.

"Hi mommy!" Kameron exclaims.

"Hey guys, whatcha doing?"

"We're just playing and stuff." Kameron answers.

"Oh! Brayden, are you playing?"

"Yes." he says cutely.

"Good. I gotta go back upstairs and take care of Elena, okay?"

"Okay!" Kameron exclaims.

"Okay!" Brayden copies.

I grin, kissing both of their heads and making my way up the stairs and into the bedroom where I lay with Elena and end up dozing off myself.

"Babe..."

I blink my eyes open, looking over to see Justin hovering over me. "Hm?" I hum.

"You dozed off with Elena. How's she doing?"

I rub my eyes. "Her fever is back. I think you need to take her to the doctor tomorrow."

He sighs. "Okay. Do you wanna come eat dinner or sleep?"

"Sleep." I mumble.

"Okay baby." he says, kissing my forehead and leaving the room after turning off the lights.

I let out a big sigh, feeling Elena cuddle into me before I fall back to sleep.

Later, I blink my eyes open to see Justin getting ready for bed and Elena still sleeping next to me.

"Did she eat?" I ask,taking a breath in.

Justin looks over and grins before nodding. "Yeah, she got up and ate then went back to sleep.

ahhh i feel so bad this is such a short chapter!

BUT it's just a filler chapter anyway and i think the next chapter will be too.... i'm not sure yet lol
