Arriving to the grocery store, I take Brayden out of the back of the car and place him on my hip until we get up to the store. I then place him in the grocery cart seat and pushing him towards the produce section.

After grabbing bananas, we head towards the breakfast aisle, grabbing cheerios and going to the dairy section, putting already cubed cheese in the cart.

"Well, well, well, it's like we're meant to be running into each other."

I turn, noticing none other than Lily Parker standing near me. "Hello, Lily." I tell her politely, looking down at something else I had to pick up. .

"Hello." she smirks. "I have to say, Elianna, you are looking quite exhausted."

I look up at her, licking my lips. "Excuse me?"

"Oh, nothing dear, I just said you look tired is all." she says, fakely smiling.

"What is your point in speaking to me, Miss. Parker? I am trying to do my shopping and get my son home." I ask, getting annoyed.

"I just heard that you moved out of Justin's place. I can't say I blame you, he's crazy. My poor babies, they've probably suffered miserably these past few years. I just didn't realize that he was such a terrible father when I left. I was still in love with him y-"

"I advise you to stop talking, Miss. Parker." I say, interrupting her. "I am still very much with Justin and for the record, he's an absolutely amazing father." I inform her.

She laughs. "That's ridiculous! I mean, he hired a nanny because he doesn't want to take care of them!"

"He hired a nanny because he's CEO of one of the biggest companies in the world and is in the office five days a week, eight, sometimes nine hours a day." I tell her. "You wouldn't want him leaving your children home alone now would you?"

She sighs. "Of course not! But see, that's another point, he works far too much. He barely spends time with his children. That's what's most important."

"What you fail to realize is if Justin weren't to do all the work that he currently does, your children wouldn't have the wonderful life they have today. Now, if you will excuse me-" I start, trying to walk by her.

"You'd know all about that wouldn't you? I mean, you went from working a low paying job, living with your mother whoring around and taking care of your newborn as a single mom to living in a mansion, having the highest paying job aside from Justin himself and placing your son into a family that isn't even actually his. Talk about a gold digger. I mean, what is that teaching yo-"

"I'm gonna stop you there." I say, my teeth clenching. "I advise that you keep those pretty little lips pressed together. You have no idea who the hell I am, where I came from, my story or anything about my son. You also have no right to look into and judge my life! Now, I have worked extremely hard for where I am in life. Was I given quite a few things once entering a relationship with Justin? Absolutely but I assure you it was never my intent to get into a relationship with my boss in the first place. Not that it's any of your business. On another note, I also advise you to keep your mouth shut with speaking about your ex because whether you want to admit it or not, he stepped up and took care of his children as a single parent. He gave them all the love and support he possibly could have while working as CEO of one of the biggest companies in the world. Meanwhile, you left your children and disappeared off the face of the earth for three years and then barged in and demanded something quite frankly you have no right to. You failed to parent them, so don't be afraid that someone else stepped up and did. Find your groceries and stop wasting my time." I tell her, fed up with the bullshit as I push by her and continue getting the groceries.

By the time I am done, I have calmed myself and take the groceries back to the apartment before driving to the house and entering, placing Brayden on the floor with the other kids before smiling to Mama Lee.

"Justin in his study?" I ask.

She nods. "Yes, he said he will be joining us for dinner though."

"Awesome." I grin, walking to his study and knocking lightly.

"Come in." he says, his tone sort of flat.

I open the door, entering the room and giving him a small smile.

"Hey, I didn't know if you guys were coming tonight." he says, looking up at me and grinning lightly.

"Of course." I smile. "I just had to go to the store first. I wanted to talk to you."

"About?" he asks, raising his brows.

"Brayden's birthday." I tell him, pouting lightly.

He chuckles, waving me over.

I walk over and sit on his lap, allowing his hand to lie on my legs. "So, I want it to be mickey themed..." I start, telling him everything I told my mom.

He nods. "Do you wanna have it on his birthday?"

I nod. "His birthday is on a Saturday so it's perfect."

He licks his lips. "I think it's a great idea. I don't see why any of that would be a problem. I'll order the bounce house, you and mama lee can work on decorations if you want and then it seems you've already gotten food figured out too so maybe your mom and you can focus on that one. Then, if there's anything else you need help with you can tell me and I'd be happy to do it for you." he says, moving my hair out of my face and behind my shoulder, placing a lingering kiss on the skin.

"Thank you." I tell him, gazing into his orbs. "You're the best."

He chuckles as there's a knock on the door. "Seems like dinner's ready."

I nod. "Let's go."
