Soon, the clock hits seven and Kameron and Elena wake themselves, waking me directly afterwards followed by Brayden starting to cry only moments later.
"Alright, Kameron, you need to go use the potty. Elena, come with me." I tell them, standing from the bed sleepily and leading Elena to Brayden's room. "Good morning baby boy!"
Brayden smiles, standing for me to get him up.
"Hold on, bubba." I tell him, grabbing Elena a diaper and changing hers. "Alright Lana, hold on for a minute." I tell her, grabbing Brayden and changing his diaper now.
I then place Brayden on my hip and walk out of the room to meet Kameron in the living room. I place Brayden down and he goes over to Kameron as well as Elena. Putting on a show for them, I walk to the kitchen and make eggs and toast, placing their servings on their plates or the high chair.
"Make me breakfast too?" Aileen asks, chuckling as she walks in.
"And coffee." I grin, pointing to the pot.
She gasps, going to the coffee quickly and pouring herself a cup.
"Kids! Breakfast!" I call out, setting their spill proof straw cups with their food.
Kameron and Elena run in, Brayden following slowly behind. Picking up Brayden, I put him in the high chair, sitting the food in front of him as the other kids climb in their chairs and start eating immediately.
Once they're done with breakfast, I clean up the messes they, of course, made and walk to my bedroom, picking out an outfit for the day and taking a shower while Aileen watches the kids in the living room and drinks her second cup of coffee.
Once dressed, I get the outfits for Kameron and Elena that Mama Lee packed and call them in before getting them dressed for the day. Afterwards, I dress Brayden in a simple onesie and sweats before letting them once again.
Almost as if on cue, there's a knock at the door, causing me to open it willingly to notice Justin.
"Hey." he grins, leaning in and kissing me on the cheek.
"Hi." I answer, my lips pursed slightly.
"Thank you so much for dealing with Isabelle this morning and doing mama lee the favor of taking the kids. I was so lost in work I don't know what I would've done." he sighs, stepping inside.
I nod. "Yeah."
"I gotta get 'em and go though. Elena has a doctor appointment in an hour from being sick the other day. They wanna check on her." he says, walking over and starting to get the kids together.
"Can we talk for a second first?" I ask, raising my brows.
He nods, following me to the kitchen. "What's up?"
"Do you have anything else to say about what I had to deal with this morning?" I ask, furrowing my brows.
He takes in a breath. "I mean, I can't believe she actually showed up here and tried to get you to give her the kids that early in the morning... or even at all." he shakes his head.
"I wanna know how she knows where I live." I tell him, getting upset now.
He shakes his head again. "I don't know. Maybe she's been watching us or something? I don't know."
"That's not okay, Justin." I tell him, getting frustrated with his calmness. "I have Brayden. She cannot just show up at my doorstep and bang on my door. She can't follow me. She can't be doing any of this. It's a danger to Brayden and I'm not okay with that."
