Someone wanted a sad one so here it is

You stood outside of Jacob's door. You could hear him inside, crying. You furrowed your eyebrows and felt your heart sink. You hated it when he was unhappy or crying. He deserved all the love and happiness in the world.

Hesitantly, you knocked gently on the door. "Jacob? It's me, can I come in?" You asked through the wooden door. Jacob suddenly went silent and didn't say anything for a moment. "Sure, baby, come in!" He responded, suddenly sounding just fine.

You turned the knob and pushed open the door to reveal Jacob sitting on the bed. His laptop was open to his Instagram comments and his eyes were red and puffy. Streaks of dried tears stained his cheeks. He weakly smiled at you as you closed the door and came to sit next to him on the bed.

"What's wrong, J?" You asked in a concerned tone, placing your hand on his thigh. He put his hand over top of yours, replying with "Nothing, y/n, I'm fine."

You tilted your head slightly, looking at him sincerely. "No you're not, Jacob. Now please tell me what's wrong. You can tell me anything, J, you know that." You rubbed his thigh through his sweatpants with your thumb.

A tear fell down his cheek and he bit his lower lip. "It's just everything, y/n." He explained at almost a whisper. You frowned, waiting for him to explain more. "I-I get made fun of for my cheeks and my ears, people say that I'm cringey and I can't sing. No one likes me. The whole world is against me, y/n." He suddenly broke down in tears.

You pulled him into your chest and leaned your back on his headboard. You wrapped your arms around his body, holding him tight. "That's not true, Jacob." You ran your fingers through his hair. He continued to sob into your shoulder.

"You're not cringey, you're adorable. Your ears aren't too big, and your cheeks aren't too red. You have an amazing voice and you're a great singer. You're perfect, Jacob. The world isn't against you. Just a few stupid people. Don't listen to them, you're perfect, babe." You comforted him, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

He lifted his head up, looking up at you with a grateful smile. His eyes were glassy and his face was wet with tears. Yet he still managed to look absolutely perfect. You smiled back.

"I love you so much, y/n." You could hear the gratitude in his voice. Your smile grew wider at his words. "I love you so much more, Jacob." You replied. He buried his face in your neck again, pulling your body into his.

You both sat like that for what felt like ages. Your arms were wrapped around each other. His warm breath tickling your neck. Nothing but silence filling the room. But still, it was perfect. Any moment with Jacob always was.
