I started this imagine literally back in April, I guess that proves how bad I am at finishing things oops. This one is stupid so idk why I'm even posting it

There he was again, in the same seat as always. With a thumping heart, you went to your own seat and placed your books out on the desk. His friends were discreetly chatting and he leaned back against his chair, listening to them attentively with a sweet smile on his lips.

You saw his body slightly tilt towards your side and you immediately turned and shoved your head in your books and pretended to be occupied. You fumbled your highlighter out of your pencil case and started highlighting some random words on the page before you.

"Hey, Jacob," One of his friends, who you think is named Hunter, called him. You were slightly relieved as he would probably be facing his friends now.

You don't even know when you started taking interest in Jacob Sartorius from English class, but you didn't regret it. Jacob was 1000% your type; he was athletic, attractive, smart, and it kind of annoyed you how he was nice to everyone- meaning he was kind to every single girl. But, it still made you like him as it proved he was a gentleman.

Everyday in third period English class, Jacob would sit in the row next to yours, and a few seats behind of you. You'd glance at him from time to time and sometimes, just sometimes, he'd catch you staring. You would always have to pretend you were staring at something behind him to avoid a world of embarrassment.

"Do you want me to set you up in a blind date?" You heard Hunter's voice speak to Jacob. Your eyes widened as you almost turned around.

But oh man, holy shit! A blind date? You maintained calm and waited for his response. Please say no, please say no, please say no, pleas-

"Sure, is she cute?"

Your jaw dropped. There was no hesitation. No. Hesitation. Hesitation has left the chat.

"EXCUSE ME--" You realised you were standing up and looking directly at Jacob and his friends. They were looking back, and Jacob was looking at you with a somewhat stunned expression.

"U-uhm, are uh any of you guys good at chemistry?" You blurted and hurriedly turned to grabbed your book and waved it around.

"Aren't you in one of the advanced class?" One asked with a raised eyebrow.

But you watched as a tall boy stood up to respond. You were pretty sure his name was Mark, with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Chemistry? I can help you with that. My middle name is chemistry." He joked with a cute smile.

"Ahahaha, really???!!! That's great!" You laughed loudly, trying your best not to sound nervous around Jacob. Mark bounced over to the seat in front of you and flicked his index finger.

"So, show me the question," he said as he cracked his knuckles.

"Well um," you the flipped to a random page in the middle of the book and shoved it towards the boy. You watched as his eyebrows furrowed and a slight red tint settled across his cheeks.

"Uh, I don't think I've learned this yet... this is some advanced class shit." Mark scratched his head and Hunter walked over to where the both of you were.

"If Mark can't solve it, who can? Because Mark is actually pretty good at chem- wait. What are both of you doing?" Hunter squinted and you blinked blankly at him. "This is a physics textbook."

You blushed at how stupid you must look in front of Jacob. Mark stared at Hunter for a while before snickering to himself.

"Oh, t-thanks for trying to help, Mark. I think I'll be fine on my own now." You say hurriedly and wait until Hunter and Mark walked back to where Jacob was.

Why did I have to embarrass myself in front of Jacob?! You tried not to cringe at what happened just now, but you felt extremely frustrated. You grabbed the roots of your hair and screamed silently in your head. You glanced back to where Jacob was and saw him giggling adorably. He looked up, his eyes making contact with yours.

You turned back immediately and flushed to yourself. Why the hell do I do this to myself? But at the same time, you couldn't stop staring at him. Jacob looked and cleared his throat lightly as he rolled his eyes across the room. But then his eyes landed on you again and your eyes were fixed on him, too.

This time, before you looked away, Jacob sent you a heart warming smile. His pearly white teeth flashed a grin at you, making you feel like melting. How was it possible for a single human to be so attractive?

Your pupils dilated and you gave him a smile that lasted nearly half a second before you pulled your hoodie up. Did that really just happen? You guys met eyes, looked away and made eye contact again. Your heart thumped and you rested your hand on your chest.

"What is she doing?" Jacob whispered, almost silently, to himself as he couldn't help but grin.

"Jacob, you alright? You just started smiling like an idiot." Hunted teases with a smirk. Jacob's hazel eyes rolled before he gently slapped his arm with the back of his hand.

You rushed out of the classroom to take a little break and get some fresh air. You didn't even care if you got a detention for leaving without notice. The teacher was nowhere to be found, as he was most days. There were rumors that he would quit at the end of the school year, or he would be fired because he never seemed to take the job seriously. You hardly ever got anything done in the class.

(A/N: I had a teacher like that last year, he was literally never in class so most periods everyone would just talk and do nothing besides the last ten minutes when he finally decided to show up. Nobody ever knew where he was, but he wasn't ever in class. I wonder how he hasn't been fired.)

You went down to the water fountain not so far away and filled up your water bottle. You started chugging it down, suddenly feeling immensely dehydrated.

"I was wondering when we would ever get to talk."

You almost spit out your water when you heard Jacob's familiar voice behind you.

"M-m-me? Me?" You stuttered after coughing like a maniac.

"You're y/n right?" He chuckled and you nodded reluctantly. "Great, I have something to give you."

Your pulse increased as curiosity clouded your thoughts. What could Jacob Sartorius possibly want to give me?

He then cleared his throat and exhaled shortly as he pulled something out of his pocket. "I mean... dont girls uhm.. like this kind of thing? Because Valentine's Day is tomorrow and everything. I-I just found it on the way but... have it.. if you want to." He placed a wrapped up chocolate in your hand and you gawked at it and stared up at his face. His cheeks were rosy and he covered his blush with his forearm as he pretended to cough.

"T-thank you so much," you stuttered and Jacob ran his fingers through his hair. You didn't know your confidence came from, but you yelled out his name. "Jacob?!"

Jacob was slightly startled as he looked at you and you. You couldn't believe the words leaving your lips. "I like you."

This is an example of how awkward I am as a person. I don't know what the point of this imagine was really, and I'm not sure what the genre should be so I'll label it as silly. 22 votes and 12 comments for the next imagine 😂
