"Next beat in two eggs." You read off of the recipe to make basic chocolate chip cookies. Jacob grabbed two eggs, cracking them each carefully on the counter and putting them in the bowl. He mixed them all up into the batter.

"What now?" Jacob asked, turning around to look at you. You giggled, noticing a streak of flour across his cheek. "What?" Jacob asked, confused as to why you laughed. "Come here." You said, pulling him towards you.

You wiped his cheek with your thumb, getting the flour off of him. You showed him your thumb to see what was on his face. His gaze focused on your finger and a grin spread across his lips. "Oh." He mumbled. You giggled at your boyfriends reaction. "Now go put in the chocolate chips, stupid."

He turned around, picking up the bag of chocolate chips and tearing the bag open. Without saying anything, he dumped the entire bag into the mix. "Wait, Jacob!" You yelled, trying to stop him, but it was too late. He turned around again. "What?"

"We were only supposed to use 10 ounces. That bag is 13 ounces." You giggled. He shrugged. "Oops." He smirked, throwing the empty bag into the air. Jacob turned back around to mix the batter. You watched the bag slowly drift through the air, eventually landing on the countertop.

"Done." Jacob said, releasing the spoon from his hand. "My hand is tired now." He shook his hand back and forth. You rolled your eyes playfully. "You're just weak, Jacob." His head shot in your direction. "What was that?" He asked, grabbing your hips and pinning them against the counter.

"I said," you smirked, "that you're weak." Your smirk grew wider as you watched Jacob raise his eyebrows. "Oh really?" He questioned, a playful grin on his face. You nodded. "Yep."

Suddenly, Jacob's arms wrapped around your thighs and you felt your feet being lifted off of the ground. You let out a high-pitched squeal as Jacob threw you over his shoulder.

"Jacob, put me down!" You screamed out through laughs as Jacob carried you out of the kitchen and into the living room. He dropped you down onto the couch, falling on top of you. You both sat there in each other's arms, laughing and catching your breath. "You're such a weirdo, Jacob," You giggled, stroking his hair.

He shrugged. "I know I am. But I'm not weak." He smirked, causing you to playfully roll your eyes. You stared into his hazel eyes for several seconds. Then your eyes flickered down to his lips. They were plump and perfect, inches away from yours. You grabbed him gently by the back of the head and pulled his lips into yours.

The two of you shared a sweet, passionate kiss. Finally, the kiss ended. You both pulled away with love-struck smiles on your face. "I love you, y/n." Jacob said at almost a whisper. Your smile grew wider. "I love you too, but let's put the cookies in the over now." You replied.

He nodded with a chuckle. "Good idea." He got off of you and pulled you up off of the couch with him, heading back to the kitchen to make the cookies.
