Chapter 10

Alex-

I woke up to George and Martha smiling brightly. I shuffled, they both turned they heads
"Why is everyone smiling?"
Martha fan girl screamed
"Alex we are adopting you"
"W-why?"
"Hmm"
"Why are you adopting me"
"Oh Alex because we love you so much"
"R-really"
"Alex I swear I love you so much"
"That's what my mother said"
"What?"
"Before she died she said to me that she loved me"
"Oh Alexander I'm sorry" she said apologetically with traces of evident sadness
"Hey it's not your fault, it's mine" I joked I could here the sadness radiate into the room
"Alex it wasn't your fault"
I chuckled(I hate that word)
"I was the one who accidentally gave her the sickness too, and then she gave me all the medicine"
I head a sniffle, and turned around to see Laurens in the hospital bed crying. The events of yesterday plays out in my head or at least what I can remember... I confessed my love to him in a hospital bed?!?
"Hey mrs. Washington can me and John have a moment(auto correct made it kidney" alone" I whispered to her. She smirked and whispers back
"Of course, where protection"
I turned red and lightly pushed her. She laughed and walked out with George. I turned to laurens the one simple question was
"Alexander did you mean what you said last night, do you really love me"
I tended up.
"Of course I really love you John, I'd be dead with out you" I said the last part with a monotone voice. He looked a little worried
"Alex don't say that"
"But John it's true I would've stayed with my mother if you weren't here with me"
"Oh Alex" he leaned down and kissed me... I kissed back...it was pure bliss for just a moment, then he came in
"Thomas what is it"
"Alexander I'm sorry I was really drunk that day I'm so sorry I should have never hurt you! Can you forgive me"
"I'll need a reason to forgive you but as of now we are on good terms"
"Thank you Alexander. It's a good thing you broke up with James before anything to serious happened."
"Yeah..." He walked out just as a doctor walked in
"Mr. Hamilton we need to change your bandages"
"Ok"
"Good"
"Can John stay?"
"Sure"
He pulled up my shirt and started undoing the bandages and applying new ones it was over quicker than last time...now that I'm not screaming and fighting him. He did a check up and told me I could leave Tomorrow as long as I change the bandages everyday Adam that I could walk around. I hugged John and kissed him lightly. He turned bright red
"Yeah Alex"
"Hmm"
"Would you like to go on a date with me"
"Yes!" I screamed
He smirked and picked me up. I his my face in my arms.
"John I can walk on my own"
"I know but this is better"
"Johnnnnnn"
"Alexxxxxxx" he said copying me.
"Put me down"
"Never"
He started tickling me
"Ahhhh!!! John stap!! HAHAHAHAHAH"
"No"
"Ahhhh!!!!! "
"What!"
"Stap tickling me or I'll"
"You'll what"
"Turtles suck"
He dropped me on the floor , I doubled over in pain. I felt the bullet wound stitches reopen. He looked down at me evidently not seeing the blood
"Turtles are gods holy creatation they do not suck"
He noticed my facial expression which I image was pained
"Hey Alex are you ok"
He picked me up and gasped as moved my hand away from the wound and when I pulled it off my hand was red and sticky he said something but I couldn't hear him. I fell limp and everything disappeared without a trace.

John-
I dropped him on the floor. He held his hand over his wound. I explained to him how turtles where gods creation of beauty. He had a pained expression on his face, I scooped him up and gasped around his hand was covered in red he moved his hand away and I saw the full extent of the blood.
"Alex I'm getting s doctor"
He felt limp in my arms and closed his eyes. I ran out with him still I my arms. I yelled for the doctor he came running over
"Sir what's wrong"
"I accidentally dropped him and his wound opened up again"
"He'll need new stitches"
"Ok"
He grabbed Alex and rushed him away. He came back out with a look of joy and disappointment etched on his face.
"He needed a blood transfusion and new stitches he's asleep right now"
"Thank you"
"It's my job next time be more careful ok"
"Yes sir"
I went over to his room. When I closed the door his eyes fluttered open.
"Hey Alex I got another day off school for you"
"You did"
He looked flabbergasted
"Yup" I said popping the p
"Why school is awesome...much better then spending time with me" he mumbled
"Nope I hate school. But I love you so it's a win"
"Heh...there is something wrong with you"
"What do you mean"
"You don't like school"
"I guess I don't"
He laughed and I pecked his forehead.
"I love you John"
"Love you too"
"Hey John"
"Yeah lex"
"Um..."
"Shit sorry I meant Alex"
"It's fine"
"Ok"
"What is your family like"
"Well they are supportive and kind"
"What about you"
I could tell I accidentally struck a nerve with him. He drew out a shaky breath
"Well my real family...there all dead. Father died at ten mother died at twelve, cousin commuted suicide at 15, brother died at 17. Foster families...none good all beat me...r worded me,used me. Now the Washington however are kind and sweet, they care about me and they won't die anytime soon" he kept taking sharp inclines of breath through talking
I sniffed holding back tears.
"Sorry for asking"
"No you deserved to know" his face was unmoving but the pain was visible in his eyes.
"Just lay down with me and forgot the world for awhile ok"
"Sure lex"
I laid down and we both fell asleep in a meter of seconds. But I know I fucking love him.

So far everyone has chosen four like why...I guess I'll have to take a walk and then just do everything because my mom would kill me. But this was about long. I needs to stop dumping everything on lex we need to have John,Lafayette, and Hercules do stupid things too. So that's a plan!
