We were all eating dinner and for the most part it was good but James kept looking upset about something? I pulled him aside as he was about to leave
"Hey what's wrong?" I quietly asked him
He looked at me with a sad Looked etched into his featured.
"Well my moms in the hospital to help get rid of her illness she went into surgery today...the doctors say she has a high chance of not making it" he collapsed into tears and fell down to the floor.
I bent down and I rubbed small circles in his back. His crying died down and he hugged me. I slightly flinched away but I hugged him back.
"Hey I'm sure my mom would let you stay here for a while"
He smiled at me
"Thanks Alex"
I led him upstairs to Thomas room and went back to my room.
