2 weeks later

Emily and Daniel wake up next to each other. Daniel had his arms around Emily. Emily wakes up early as always and gets out of bed. Or at least tried to. Emily wakes up Daniel with a kiss on the forehead.

“Daniel can I get up please. Your arms are to strong for me to get out. It is like you are worried I will leave.”

“Ugh. I don't want you to leave.” Daniel said still half asleep.

“I am going to be back. I am just going for my daily run. I am sure you will still be asleep when I get back.” Emily says while she is getting ready for her run.

“Okay, make sure to be safe. Love you Em.”

“Love you to Daniel.”

Emily goes for her regular morning run and unexpectedly runs longer than usual due to having memories on her mid. The day Daniel proposed. The day she split her drink on his light grey suit. The day he finally said he loved her. The day he thought Emily was cheating with Jack. Their end of their first engagement. The day Daniel proposed again. The day they got married. The day she finally figured out that she really did love Daniel Grayson for the real him.

Emily started running back to the beach house when she saw at the corner of her eye she saw a familiar figure.

“Charlotte, Is that you?” Emily said with a conserved voice.

“Emily, I am sorry to distract you from your run.”

“Char, Its okay. You are more important to me than my run. I can run when ever I want, but I can't always talk to you with out your mother around wanting to get in everybody's hair. Whats wrong?”

“Em, can I ask you something?”

“Anything, What is it?”

“Is loving someone you know that your parents disprove wrong?”

“What ever your heart tells you to do it within reason. Look if Daniel can do it you can too.”

“Thanks Emily! I am glad I can call you my sister. I am glad you are in this family.”

“I am glad my serves can come to a good. I must get going Daniel will be worried. I will see you soon?
“Yes. I will call you tomorrow! Bye Emily, I love you” Charlotte said the last part shyly because she wasn't used to saying it out loud only in her head.

“I love you to Char.” Emily said and gave Charlotte with a hug.

Emily arrived back in the beach house to see that Daniel was up and was attempting to make pancakes.

Emily stopped at the door way and just stayed and watch him get frustrated flipping the pancakes. Emily laughed and Daniel looked over his shoulder to see Emily smiling at him.

“Babe can I have a little help? It is really hard to flip these damn pancakes.”

“I know, and let me wash up and I will help you. Just promise me we wont have another food fight. I am still finding batter on the floor.” She said walking up the stairs.

“I promise no food fight. But I don't promise no making out.”

Emily walks up the stairs into the bedroom to get a change of cloths and she starts her way into the bathroom to take a shower. When she gets out she smells pancakes and she smiles. She walks down stairs to see that Daniel could flip the pancakes all by him self.

“She Danny you could flip them with out my help.”

“I couldn't wait until you got done, I am starving. What about you?”

“I am about to destroy those pancakes. I ran longer today and it made me famished.”

“Well good thing I made enough. I love love you Emily.”

“I love you to Daniel.”

Emily and Daniel finish eating and they clean up. Daniel takes Emily down to the beach and they go for a walk. They walked up and down the beach holding hands and laughing. They reached the end of the beach to the rocks where they had their first date. They sat down on one of the fallen palm trees and talked for what seemed hours. They talked until they couldn't stand the emptiness in their stomachs and headed to the beach house for dinner. Daniel fixed spaghetti with his attempt of sauce. After dinner Daniel went up stairs to get a shower since he didn't have a chance to take on earlier. Emily was down stairs cleaning up when she heard a thump up stairs.

“Daniel are you okay?!” Silence. “DANIEL?!?!” At this point she had tears streaming down her face and was running up the stairs to the master bathroom. “DANIEL?!”

Emily was in the bathroom when she saw a limp body on the floor.

“DANIEL STAY WITH ME!! I AM CALLING AN AMBULANCE NOW STAY WITH ME!!!” Emily rushed to get her phone and called the ambulance.

“911 whats your emergency?”

“My husband has fallen and he is not responsive. I need an ambulance right away!!” Emily said with tears in her eyes and a lump in her throat.

10 min later their where emergency responded in her house putting Daniel on a stretcher.
