Don Voyage

Sorry for the hiatus I've been on. I have graduated collage and got my first "big girl" job. Any way, I have a lot more free time now and plan on working on this story some more. I plan on kind of cleaning it up and reviving it in a way. I'm sorry it took me almost 2 years to update. But I am back! 

It's been three months since Berkeley's funeral. The worst day in Daniel and Emily's life. Charlotte came and stayed with the couple for the entirety of the funeral, how ever Victoria came and gave the grieving parents her condolences and left.

They found out what had caused Emily's miscarriage and it was that Berkeley had a whole in her heart. It was very sudden and she would not have survived long after her delivery if she had been full term.

Emily has had a hard time with everything, but Daniel has been there or her. They with weak hearts decided to donate most of her things except for the crib and a blanket. The blanket is Emily's one thing to remember her daughter by and the crib is for the both of them to remember that there is hope, that one day, they will have a family of their own.

Emily and Daniel still have not spoken to Victoria and Charlotte comes by when ever she gets a chance. Daniel and buried himself in his work and ha signed some amazing contracts because of his hard work the past month. Because of his hard work, Daniel has decided to surprise Emily with a surprise vacation to London.

Daniel arrives to the beach house to find Emily sitting at the table with a surprise dinner prepared for him.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He says giving Emily a quick kiss.

"I've decided to make dinner tonight and thought, why not make it a romantic dinner. We haven't had a real dinner since before everything has happened the past few months." She said while pouring Daniel a Glass of wine.

"I thought you read my mind" "About what? What are you thinking about? You only get that look when you are up to something Daniel Edward Grayson." Emily says with a brow raised.

Daniel and Emily go forward with the dinner and they talked like old times. They laughed till they were crying and even talked more about their future and what they want.

"Well Emily, you know how I've been working a lot these past few weeks?" "Yes?" "Well its because I have been planning a trip, for the both of us, no work, no stress, just me and you to London!" Daniel said with a questionable face. He waited for Emily's reply and he was nervous, he had never done anything like this before."

"Danny! I can't wait! When do we leave?" Emily said jumping up and down.

Daniel let out a sigh of relief. "We leave in the morning. I have your bag already pack, everything ready, so all you have to do is relax!"

Emily had an even bigger smile on her face. "Danny, I don't know what I did to deserve a man like you. I love you." Emily said while wrapping Daniel in a hug and kissed him.

They spent to rest of the night just continuing their dinner date. On the couch, talking, laughing, having a good time. The morning came and they loaded everything up in the car and arrived at the airport. They go through with security and board their plane. Off to London they went.
