I lived in this house all my life, but I swear this door wasn't here before.
Crossing my arms, I stare suspiciously at the vintage door that appeared overnight in my room. There's no logical explanation, but I have to know what's on the other side.
One step closer. There's a golden key in the keyhole. I lift a shaky hand to turn the key. A loud click echoes in the emptiness.
My heart hammers. I can't stop. I swiftly turn the doorknob and enter.
The world suddenly becomes a phosphorescent void.
I twirl around...
And the door is gone...
