“You’re late! You missed ...” squealed the children.
“Beta, I tried! The traffic was horrible, a big accident,” I explained.
“You shouldn't have gone to work,” my hubby pitched in.
“It was an emergency. I feel guilty for not apologizing for last night,” I replied as we walked out of the airport.
Entering home, a familiar aroma hugged us.
“Me first!”
“No, me first!”
The children yelled grabbing plates.
My hubby smiled handing me her letter.
‘Dear,
Don't worry about the fight, we'll talk once I reach Delhi. Enjoy the little things in life. Enjoy the Chicken Biryani.
