And I was entranced by the wonderful view of the sunrise. It was the first time I actually paid this much attention to something.
I turned and asked Emily, “is this what you wanted to show me?”
She smiled and replied, “yes, you have been sad lately, so I tried my best to cheer you up.”
She looked down as if embarrassed. But little did she know that just by showing me something this beautiful, she made me forget all my worries.
I grasped her hand and said, “thank you” with a teary smile.
