The little boy skittered out of McDonald's, holding a small paper bag in his hand. He ran across the street to the other sidewalk, his oversized school backpack bouncing on his back.
"Here!"
He gave the paper bag to another boy, almost the same age. The other boy wore tattered clothes and sat on a piece of cardboard. He snatched the bag and devoured the hamburger in seconds.
The little boy brought out a notebook and a pencil from his backpack and smiled to the homeless boy. "Now we can start the first lesson."
