Hiccup.
Rorke has prohibited their dragons to enter the castle.
"That tyrant of a--" Snotlout punches the stable walls as little cement falls from the strong impact of his fist. "Where was the Queen when we needed her!?"
"Calm down, Snotlout." Both Astrid and Hiccup say in chorus. They both smile at each other.
"Anna is the one in charge. She should be the one to blame, not Elsa." Hiccup states.
"Are you hearing this, Astrid?" Snotlout narrows his gaze at the Viking blonde. He scoffs, "Hiccup's defending a queen who can't even stand up for herself."
"Can you just shut up?!" Astrid bellows and looks over at her lover, who's already tramping out of the stables. Toothless frowns in one of the stable's cubicles as he sees his best friend storm out. "Look what you've done, nut job."
"Screw you, people. I was right. Coming here was a mistake. We should've stayed back at Berk and lived a peaceful life. 'Cause can't you see? Arendelle doesn't need our help. They have enough armies to save the country until the war ends."
Hiccup stops after rounding into a corner and hide behind it to listen more of his friends' confessions. Surely, it's been in their heads ever since they got here.
What am I gonna do, Dad? Hiccup exhales. Should I just postpone this alliance?
Snotlout's not thinking straight, all of them are. They need this alliance for Elsa is capable of ruling the whole world. If she lets the dark side engulf her, she might start the Apocalypse. And that is why Hiccup needs to make her believe. This alliance isn't all about preparing or winning the war anymore, it's about collaborating to prevent the war, to prevent such a person full of light not to lose herself.
Because Hiccup knows Elsa just needs everyone, at least someone other than her sister to know what she's been feeling for the past years of existing. She's lonely and afraid, in which causes her to lose control of her powers and confidence. She has a gift, not a curse. She just needs guidance from someone, someone who shares the same ability.
She needs Jack Frost, Hiccup's half brother who died years back, and got reincarnated by the moon.
Climbing the basement stairs, Hiccup pulls his brown hair back. He decided to trek the castle halls until he feels tired enough to go to sleep.
When he stopped in front of Elsa's door. He debates over himself whether he should come in or not. Elsa might not be there, he thought. Or she's already asleep. I don't wanna disturb her.
"Hiccup." Turning to his right, Hiccup is alarmed when Elsa stumbled upon him just in time before he could continue on his trek. "Do you need something?" Elsa's voice is so gentle that he'd gulp in disbelief. He wished Astrid would share the same texture of voice, but he accepts all women are beautiful in their own way.
"Oh, uhm, I'm just giving myself a tour around the castle, if you don't mind."
"Oh, I don't mind at all. But how about I give you the proper tour myself?"
Hiccup examines her for a moment. She's not in her usual royal clothes and hairstyle, especially her platinum blonde hair is oddly let down, and there's no amount of makeup that can be seen in her face that her cute freckles are exposed. Though she still looks good. She is naturally beautiful.
"You don't have to if you're tired."
"Oh, I'm not tired. Come on."
It was too late to decline, so he instead agrees as they walk side by side down the halls. Hiccup's pace is slow, as Elsa's just moderate.
