Chapter 14: Meeting the wife

By now, Ru Lan had let go of An Lian's arm and the two walked to the library in silence.

They didn't get much work done as they both didn't feel it today, so they decided to part early.

An Lian wasn't sure why he was feeling so down.

Once he returned to his dorm, An Lian started up his laptop and clicked on the icon for Red Dragon Quest.

To his disappointment, Raging Storm was not online.

An Lian was a bit lost and didn't know what to do.

Should I play without him? It feels a bit... lonely.

An Lian let out a sigh. Today was really not his day!

Just then, Jian Chen returned, his face did not look happy and no one in the dorm dared to speak or ask him about it. He just went straight to his laptop.

While An Lian was blankly staring at the screen and swinging around in his chair, Raging Storm came online.

An Lian's mood immediately took a turn for the better as his face lit up.
