That evening when An Lian returned to the dorm he was exhausted. All he wanted to do was take off his wet coat and snuggle up into bed.

His laptop was luckily not in that bad a state and all that needed replacing was the screen. They managed to do this in a few hours and An Lian wondered around until it was done.

His wallet was now also much lighter.

It was barely halfway through the month, yet An Lian only had enough money for a few more meals...

If I ration it out... I can buy about one meal a day...

AOA

Maybe I'll go to the convenience store to pick up some cheap ramen.

*Sigh*

When he entered the dorm, he was met with a dark aura.

Only Xi Jun and Jian Chen were in the room, but there was a tense atmosphere and nobody was talking. An Lian noticed Jian Chen looked like he was about to murder someone...

Xi Jun looked up and gave An Lian a small, reassuring smile.

An Lian took off his coat, and went to sit down at his desk. He wasn't really sure what to do...

Just then, Jian Chen abruptly got up and went to the door, opened it and left - just like that.

An Lian was even more confused. He looked up to Xi Jun for help. Xi Jun told him that he had been acting like that since yesterday... Nobody knew what was wrong with him, and nobody dared to ask. He had a very menacing aura around him that made most people cower in fear.

An Lian suspected that it may have something to do with Meng Ying.

Maybe they had a fight?

An Lian was still feeling miserable, and when he started up his laptop, he stared at the Red Dragon Quest icon for a long while...

But he did not click it.

He instead, tried to get some work done. But he was very distracted, and could not focus.

At one point, Jian Chen came back. He had a plastic shopping bag in his hands that he, quite violently, threw down on his desk. He sat back in his chair just looking at his screen for a long time, not doing anything.

Needless to say, An Lian was a bit concerned. He really wanted to ask, but he was also afraid of Jian Chen...

After several minutes of internal battle, An Lian puckered up the courage and asked, he was starting to get worried it might be something serious, and no matter how scary Jian Chen is, he's still only human.

"Jian Chen... Is everything... Okay?" An Lian asked in a small voice.

Jian Chen looked up, his eyebrows still frowned - but seeing it was An Lian, his expression softened.

Xi Jun was also listening attentively.

Jian Chen replied casting his gaze from An Lian, "It's nothing. Don't worry about it."

An Lian did not believe him, but he also knew he should not enquire further.

So now, An Lian was back where he started, staring at the Red Dragon Quest icon. He really wanted to play, but he was afraid.

In his inner turmoil, he suddenly remembered - he had another character!

That's right! I can play my warrior, the one I first made when I played with Xi Jun, Yu Ming and Jian Chen. This character has no connection with Raging Storm.

Remembering this, An Lian hastily logged on.

His male warrior character was still in the starting area, where An Lian left him.

An Lian was glad to play again, but it was a little lonely.

He went through the quests, but found he was having great difficulty! He kept dying ah!

Were there always this many monsters? When I played with Little Flower nothing ever attacked me! Are they kinder to female characters...?

Along the way doing quests he ran into some people who were talking on the world chat.

World Chat

XX: Did you hear? Storm actually got banned!

BlueShadow: Really!? No way how could they ban him?

XX: The admins gave him a 24-hour ban to "calm down" apparently...

XiaoLian: What happened?

XX: Raging Storm went on a rampage yesterday you know!!!

BlueShadow: That's right! I got killed too... many times. TOT

XiaoLian: ... he killed many people? Why...?

BlueShadow: Well because his wife left him of course!

XX: No no! I heard she cheated on him!

-----------

An Lian was feeling a bit... guilty?

People got killed... and Storm got banned. Because I divorced him? Ah, that's right, I left the guild... and blocked him too...

... should I have at least... said goodbye...

An Lian thought about it for a while, but wasn't coming to any answers. He did not know what to do in this kind of situation.

BlueShadow: It's almost been 24-hours right?

XX: That's right, someone on his fan page even made a countdown, twenty more minutes.

XiaoLian: He'll come online?

BlueShadow: I think he will... I'm preparing to die again ah.

Twenty minutes...

An Lian wanted to clear things up.

The reason I'm feeling so uneasy is because I left without explaining. Even if he yells at me, and curses me... and hates me. I'll accept it.

I have twenty minutes... before I see him again. For probably the last time.

An Lian thought this would be the best way to clear his conscience. So, he logged off XiaoLian and on to Little Flower.

She was still stood at the temple, alone.

He had hundreds of private messages which did not bother to open, they were probably people cursing at him. He walked out to the Bronze city and found a quiet place to wait.

Surely twenty minutes have passed by now...

That's when he saw the spamming in the world chat. Yes, Raging Storm was online again, and by the looks of things he was... in the starting village?

What's he doing there?

Little Flower went to the flight station and caught a bird to the starting village.

How is everyone doing today?

Here's an update just for you!

What's going to happen when An Lian goes to find Storm? Will he be rejected? Will he be yelled at? Or, will everything be cleared up?

I'll update the day after tomorrow! Bye!
