3: Okay, And Now for a Chapter with Felix In!
Felix sat down at the table in his tent. Bob jumped up onto the chair. It was comical, seeing the large black wolf sitting at a table, which was partly why he made him do so.
"Is it time yet Master?" Bob asked eagerly.
"Not yet. We have to be patient. Okay, patient."
Bob growled. "Do not speak to I like me is a cub."
"It's 'Do not speak to me like I'm a cub.'"
The leader of all Death Wolves growled again, offended to be corrected. Modern languages weren't Death Wolves' strong points. They preferred hunting Elementists, maiming Elementists and killing Elementists. That is, Elementists who weren't from Echo Valley. They also absolutely loved daydreaming about killing descendants of Hephzibah, their nemesis. That was why Felix and the Death Wolves had formed an alliance. They both hated Olivia Green.
"Look Bob," Felix was slightly fed up of telling him this. "We can't start gathering all the Death Wolves here ready to march on Willow Forest yet. In case you have forgotten again, England is an island. Apart from the rest of the British Isles, the nearest mainland country is France. Ergo, most of the Wolves will have to come here via France. France being the worst country possible for this purpose, thanks to Les Serpents Rouges."
Bob shuddered at the name.
"All your minions in Asia, Africa and Mainland Europe are still no match for Les SerpentsRouges. This, Bob, is why I told you to use any means possible, even some of my trainees here, to dispatch of them beforehand."
Bob gulped.
"Now, Bob, I'm guessing you still have to do so?"
Bob's ears twitched. "My recruits survived two hours after they crossed the border. I haven't sent anyone else since."
Felix sighed. "Bob, did you even have a plan?"
"Yes Master! A very good one. Sneak there, hunt, strike kill."
Felix laughed. "It's going to take a lot more than the standard sneak, hunt, strike, kill procedure. To take them down, you're going to need trickery. Sasha would have been ideal for this, but unfortunately my sister has chosen the wrong side and was no intention of being painted white."
The Wolf clearly didn't understand Felix's reference to chess.
"I mean there's no way she'll come to our side again."
That seemed to make a bit more sense to Bob. "I will try Master. But surely it is best to save as many of our forces until the final battle?"
"Well yes, obviously. But this is Les Serpents Rouges we're talking about. We can't be picky."
Funny how just the mention of them made any Death Wolf flinch.
"So Bob, what are you going to do?"
"Dispatch of..." Bob couldn't bring himself to say the three words. "...Those people. Use trickery, not force. And do it quick."
"Good."
Satisfied, Felix showed the Death Wolf out of his tent, and brushed the fur off the chair seat.
