25:  Closure

"Bob, for the final time, have you disposed of Les Serpents Rouges?"

Both Bob and Dave winced.

Felix was fed up.

Really, really, fed up.

The Death Wolves were supposed to be fierce, lean, mean, gut-ripping killing machines.  The bane of Hephzibah.  The slaughterer of Elementists.  The terror of Witch.

Yet, ten, stupid teenagers were stopping the whole race- millions, of coming from all around the world to the Lake District, so they could march to Willow Forest and do what they excelled at most:  killing people.

And, oh no, Sasha had taken the sword, too, so he couldn't even attempt to control them and dispose of them with that.

Sure, large numbers of Death Wolves might have been able to overpower them.  But it was incredibly difficult to transport hundreds of large, oversized, dangerous wolves through countries without alerting the media, police and most Wildlife Humane Societies.

He couldn't exactly pack a ferry with a thousand or so wolves, snarling at passengers and occupying all the gaming booths.

Felix sighed.  "You haven't have you?"

Bob gulped.  "Very hard.  Can't get more than ten in France at once due to human transport and human border restrictions.  They can easily take ten."

"And what about all the other ways we discussed?"

"All tried.  All failed."

"Then, we have no choice but to start anyway.  The Death Wolves will simply be unable to access England via France.  A major issue, yes, but not impossible."

"So..." B said.

"So we start anyway."  Felix decided.  "Bob?"

"Yes?"

"You have my permission to start.  Send out the call.  Begin."

The gathering of the Death Wolves had begun.
