18: Happy Monster Birthday, Jeremy!
Ash was having a really, really good day.
Heavy sarcasm.
Wait, was it even day?
Night?
The last time she had been aware of the time was at the disco, which had been at nine o'clock.
So, by now, it was probably morning.
Strange.
Despite all, she felt no sudden urge to lie down and sleep. Maybe it was something to do with the rather pressing fact that they were stuck inside a video game. You never had to sleep in video games. Or go to the loo. You just proceeded on to the next level.

She had a sudden image of Ethan scowling in a pink dress with pink wings and a pink sparkly wand saying 'Bibiddi Bobiddi Boo!'
She burst out laughing.
Eve stared at her oddly. "Sis, have you gone nuts?"
"Nah." She said sassily. "I'm crazy already. So, it doesn't make any difference."
Eve opened her mouth to say something, but Ash interrupted.
"Sorry. Calling me crazy is an insult to you. I mean, if I'm crazy, you should be running around naked in a mental hospital."
"Well," Eve began, "If I'm running around naked in a mental hospital, you'd be so out of your mind you'd strap yourself to a rocket, blast off into out of space and die."
She snorted. "Yeah, right. I'd have probably unintentionally re-programmed something so I was fine."
"Would not!"
"Would to!"
"Would not!"
"Would to!"
"Would n-"
"Guys." Danny broke them apart. "We've got bigger problems right now."
