8:  No Volunteers Allowed

The rules of the game were simple.  Survive.  If you get to hungry or thirsty or injured or ill, you press a button on a watch round you're wrist, give your name, and Ethan would come and find you and pick you up.  If you surrender like that, you are out.  Ethan himself would not be playing, he would be checking his software and collecting those who have surrender.  And performing Effie Trinket impressions.  If you would have been killed by a wild animal, the animal will tell you so and press the button round your wrist.  Ethan will then collect you, and you are out.  No one is to kill/hunt ANY animals.  Olivia had summoned them all in the training ha- I mean, Hunger Games Arena, and it would be unfair to then kill them.  Under no circumstances is anyone to become "so freakin' focused on trying to win you go and get yourself killed."

Ethan's words, not Olivia's.

"And let the Seventy-Seventh Annual Hunger Games be-"

Ethan was doing a falsetto impression of Effie Trinket.  He clearly didn't look pleased to be interrupted by Eve.

"Ooh!  I volunteer!  I volunteer as I tribute to not do this right now because I need to go pee!"  Eve cried.

Finally, the war game preparations were finished.  The Training Hall was now a tropical rainforest, complete with wildlife and Ethan's high-technology additions so he could get data to incorporate into the TARDIS'S new special feature.  (Will be available for tours when complete, sessions cost one working battery each.)

"Bad luck!"  Ethan yelled back, before remembering he was supposed to be Effie.  "Um, sorry honey," he lifted his voice up an octave and added an American accent.  "But we really need to start.  The whole of Panem is watching this, and we can't delay.  Anyway, you can't volunteer out of this now!

"AND LET THE SEVENTY-SEVENTH HUNGER GAMES BEGIN!"

Olivia, along with the forty-one others dashed to the weapons pile.  It was funny how they all dived for different things.  The Tech Elementists went to the electrical components pile, Sasha had no need of matches, but everyone else dived for them, Pippa left out anything to do with medicine and Alice ignored the food, the Waters left out the water purifying tablets.  As did Olivia.  If her plan worked, she wouldn't require any.  All she snatched was a first-aid kit, a rucksack, two boxes of matches and a sword.

She also grabbed Rachael, Josie and Luke.

"Alliance?" They all asked at once, before bursting into laughter.

Olivia decided she didn't like the way Karl was eyeing her first-aid kit.

"C'mon."  She grew them some ladders.  "Dump what supplies you have in here."  She opened up her rucksack.  Josie also had one, so between them they had everything.  The four climbed the ladders up to the top level.
