4 months later
*~*~*
Author's note:
Small bit of information that's a little important for this chapter.
Ryan is now 17, turning 18, Cody is 16, Greyson is almost 16. It's only a little while after Macy's birthday. This is in February, Cody's birthday is in January, Greyson's is August and Macy has the same birthday as me (It's easier to remember), November 3. So 4 months after her birthday.
Ok now back to the story.
*~*~*
"Cody, knock it off!"
"Come on, it's fun!"
"No way!"
"Wimp."
I rolled my eyes and laughed as he slid across the pond on his feet.
We'd been dating for a little over four months. We went public two months ago, and apart from the little bit of hate I got, the fans were pretty good about it. Mind you, some of them have been shipping me and Cody since the Waiting 4 U tour. The Mason shippers, on the other hand...
Ryan had a big break about the same time me and Cody went public. He's planning a cross-country tour right now with Shane Harper. He's cool, too. Like a big brother I wish I had. I guess I had Ryan, but I liked Shane better.
"Come on, Mace!" Cody called from across the pond. "It's fun!"
"Alright, fine, but if I break a bone it's on your conscience." I sighed.
"That's a risk I'm willing to take." Cody laughed, sliding towards me and grabbing my hand.
"Thanks." I muttered, trying to balance on the ice to not fall over and embarrass myself.
"No problem. Now slide!" he smiled, letting go of me and taking off across the ice again.
"Not gonna happen. You're lucky I'm even on the ice." I laughed.
"Come on. I'll help you." he said, sliding back and offering his hand again.
"Jerk." I tried to force down a smile as I took his hand.
"Now slide!" he repeated, pulling me along with him.
I instantly put my other hand on his and tried to steady myself. That backfired when I pulled Cody down and he fell. I somehow stayed up, though. Still holding his hand, which I should have let go of because he smirked at me and pulled me down next to him.
I fell and landed on my back.
"That was rude." I muttered.
"I think you need skating lessons." he laughed.
"No, we're on boots on a pond in the park. I don't think skating lessons would make me any better." I wrinkled my nose to try to fight the cold.
He stared at me for a second before leaning forward and kissing the tip of my nose.
"You're cold." he commented.
"Thanks for the insight." I laughed.
He rolled his eyes and stood up, then helped me up.
I slowly made my way to the edge of the pond. Cody beat me there, obviously, and helped me get up into the snow.
"Now, I vote we go to starbucks or something and get hot chocolate. You're not the only one who's cold." Cody said with a shiver.
"Awe, poor baby." I mocked him. "But I'm up for a hot chocolate."
He smiled and we walked off down the sidewalk.
About halfway to starbucks, we were spotted by three fans who ran up to us.
"Cody!" one smiled.
"G'day, babe." he smiled back.
"Can we get a picture?" the second one asked.
"Uh, I'd love to, but I'm kind of on a-" he started, looking down at me.
I dropped his hand and took the camera from the first girl's hand before he could finish. "Of course. Here, I'll take it."
They all smiled gratefully and squeezed in next to Cody.
I took the picture and they ran off happily after thanking us.
"Sorry about that." Cody apologized.
"Don't be. I'm used to it." I shrugged. "What do you want to do after starbucks?"
"Well, you could come over and chill." he suggested.
"Chill." I mocked him.
"Okay, you could come over and we could make out in my bedr-"
"Cody!" I scoffed, slapping him in the stomach with the back of my hand.
"Well, you weren't up for chillin." he laughed.
"I wasn't up for the word 'chillin,' you pervert." I rolled my eyes at him.
"So, is that a yes?" he asked hopefully.
"Fine." I smiled crookedly.
He laughed and slid a hand around my waist, pulling me close to him and gently kissing my lips.
"Let's go, then." I bit my lip and pulled my head away a little, still on my tiptoes and pressed against him.
He laughed, kissing me once more quickly and took my hand again.
"Sneaky bastard." I laughed.
He picked up some snow from the snowbank beside the sidewalk and threw it at me. I did the same and we got into a huge snowball fight the whole way to starbucks.
****
"Mom, we're home!" Cody called, shaking his head to get the snow out of his hair.
I shrugged off my jacket and placed it on the chair in the entryway.
"We?" Alli asked from the living room.
"Hey Alli." I smiled.
"Hey." she replied, turning her attention back to the TV.
"So, any preferences?" Cody asked as we sat on the other couch.
He put his arm over my shoulders and I curled up next to him, laying my head on his shoulder.
"Nah. I'm good with anything." I answered.
"Game night?" he looked down at me and smirked.
"Board games?" Alli asked. "I'm in."
"Let's do this. You're both going down." I said cockily, sitting up and giving them both a devious look.
*~*~*
So
Are they cute or what!?
I love them so much asdfghjkl
And for you Jacy (I didn't think Jordan and Macy were a thing but ok) shippers, don't worry, Jordan will have a bigger part later on. So will Ryan. Idk about Alli though... Maybe.
Btw, you can find me on twitter @harryobama, you guys can all come on and bitch at me about bad chapters or express your love for cady (if you ship cady I love you) (I guess I love you anyway if you're reading this story) (mason is good too) (where did Jacy even come from) (Cady is my ship), or just talk about the story in general. I love feedback! Also, comments and votes are very appreciated :)
