So, you're probably wondering by now why Greyson has been all cocky and seductive lately. Well, there's a whole story behind it. It's just never been this extreme.

After Cody started calling, we fell apart. Cody's been known to do that. After things start going good again, he comes in and ruins them. After Back To You came out and Greyson yelled at me for acting like a kid (which was weird being that I hadn't spoke a word to Cody in forever), and then Teardrops on Your Pillow came out, and then Standing in China came out, he'd about had it with me, which, again, i had nothing to do with it so it made no sense for him to blame this all on me. I tried to tell him exactly that, but he wouldn't go for it. He told me I should pick someone and be done with it. So I told him to leave, because I didn't need the stress of him yelling at me for something I hadn't done. And then he leaned down and pressed one kiss to my lips and said “I had to do that. One last time.” And then he left. And since that day, we haven't uttered one even remotely kind word to each other.

So, when Taylor called me today and asked if I wanted to go to the bar, I was eager. And of age. I'd had too much thinking for today. So I went. And I got drunk. And it didn't even register in my mind that i should be mad when Mr. Chance walked through the front door. Don't ask me why, because I have no idea.

By then, me and Taylor were both drunk, and she was my ride home. Greyson realized this and offered me a ride. I said no. Actually, my exact words were “No. And don't try to convince me, because I feel like there's some reason I should be mad at you, but I can't remember why and I don't want to think too much about it.” That didn't change his mind. So he picked me up, threw me over his shoulder, and walked out of the bar.

He put me in the passenger seat of his car, buckled the seat belt, and told me to stay. I was too tired to get out, so I sat there as he walked back into the bar. I think he said he was going to get Taylor, but I wasn't sure. Then he came back out with her on his shoulder the same way he carried me and put her in the seat behind me. Then he got into the driver's seat and started the car.

He dropped Taylor off first, and that left me alone with him for a while. And he asked me things, and I answered them. Which was odd. Because there wasn't any resentment between us as we talked.

“So, why were you mad at me?” He asked.

“I'm not sure. But I know there's something.”

He laughed.

“What?”

“You.”

“What about me?” I looked over at him at raised an eyebrow.

“Just... You.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Nothing. This is your house.” He said and stopped the car.

“Thanks.” I whispered, though i didn't have any intention of leaving the car.

“Are you gonna...” he started, gesturing to my house.

I didn't answer. I stared at his lips a they moved when he talked. I missed them.

“Aren't you going to kiss me goodnight?” I said quietly, not taking my eye off his lips.

He stared at me for a moment to see if i was joking, and when i looked up, i think i may have saw a hint of sadness in his eyes. Probably the alcohol.

He looked as if he was going to do it, then opened his door. “... You're drunk.”

“Thanks. I had no idea.”

He slammed the door, shocking me for a moment, and walked around to my side of the car and opened the door. “Let's go.”
