Hiya guys!

Fair warning: brace yourselves...let's just say you may not like me anymore after this chapter...

Enjoy!

-*-*-*-*- Will -*-*-*-*-

Will sat with his chin resting on the table as he stared at the vial filled with blue liquid. Magnus sat opposite him and Will could feel his eyes watching him.

"Remind me again what this is?" Will asked the warlock.

"It's a powerful poison," Magnus replied. "But not for you; it's for a demon.. It will weaken the one in your head and hopefully allow me to extract it." Will stared at the potion again, feeling sceptical.

"But surely if there's a demon in my head then this will affect me too," he pointed out.

"It won't," Magnus said, shaking his head. "Shadowhunter blood is way too strong to succumb to this, a demon's however is not. All you should feeling is perhaps a little sick or woozy, but that is all." Will blew out some air, leaning back on the chair. Magnus had told him that removing the demon would not be a pleasant experience. But the fact was, Will had absolutely no idea what was going to happen. For all he knew, he was going to die at the end of this.

But Jem's life was in danger, as well as Tessa, Cecily, Gideon and Gabriel. Jem had told him that Shadowhunters were brave, that they protect their own and others. He had said that Will used to do that. So he didn't really have a choice. He had to do this and become who he really was again. That was the only way to free them, to free himself.

"Well, I don't exactly have much else to lose," he said to Magnus. "I might as well lose my sanity as well." Magnus gave him a grim smile.

"You'll lose a lot more than that if this doesn't go right," he muttered.

"Wait, what?" Will asked.

"Never mind," Magnus said, standing from his chair. Will followed him, taking the vial from the table and walking to the middle of the room where Magnus had drawn a pentagram on the floor. He looked at the warlock who gave him a nod.

"You're going to be alright, Will," he said. Will took a deep breath and stepped inside the pentagram. He looked at the vial.

"Well, bottoms up," he said before tipping his head back and draining the potion. Almost immediately, he began to feel dizzy and sick. He leant on his knees, breathing hard as sweat dripped from his forehead.

"Will, are you alright?" Magnus asked tentatively. Will waved at him, unable to speak. "I'm going to start the incantation now, Will," the warlock continued. "You need to stay awake as long as you can for me. Whatever you do, keep you eyes open, understand?" Will nodded, groaning slightly.

Magnus started charting, muttering the incantation under his breath. Will squeezed his eyes shut as the pressure in his head increased. God, it felt like a balloon was expanding in his head that wasn't going to burst. He moaned, clutching his head in his hands and falling to his knees.

"Ahhh, God!" he yelled. The pain was becoming too much and darkness clouded his eyes. He couldn't stay awake for much longer.

"Got it!" Magnus yelled. Will cried out as black smoke billowed from his mouth. He threw his arms out wide, gagging as he quite literally vomited up a demon. He let out one last shriek before he fell to the side, coughing violently. Magnus was by his side in a moment, dragging him away from the pentagram. Will's vision was blurry, fading in and out as he tried to focus on Magnus's voice.
