After helping Luke clean up his face we go back down stairs where Down is now giving Mattie something to eat and Cass is coming out of the bathroom with my phone in his hand. I swear sometimes my little boy will just turn into turn into a little man out of nowhere. He gets it from his mummy.

"I mummy!" He exclaims, setting my phone down on the arm of the chair running to me.

"Hello sweetheart." I smile picking him up and kissing his little red cheek. For some odd reason his cheeks are always a bright red. Sometimes when people first meet him they get the wrong ideas. But when I explain they understand and end up enjoying his company. He's pretty popular in his daycare.

After placing a little wet kiss on my nose he climbs up my chest and places himself on my shoulders. "Mummy, I shared my orange with daddy." He exclaims, bringing his hands down under my chin like a chinstrap.

"Really?" I turn to ask Luke and he nods.

"Is that good?" He asks cluelessly and my eyes light up at him.

"That's great. He almost never shares his oranges. He already loves you." My heartstrings are tugged at again but this time I give in. But this is the only time. I pull Cass down from my shoulders and hold him close to me. He looks up at me, then over to Luke. His eyes stay between us both while the two of us lock eyes. Cass is very smart for his age so I know he already understands some of what was going on. But I'm genuinely surprised. "Luke, Cass knows absolutely nothing about you, yet he already loves you as his father." I can feel myself tearing up.

"I love daddy." Cass speaks up and I giggle.

"I love you too buddy." He says back before pulling us into a tight hug. This is one of the best feelings ever. Having my little boy's father here to love him and protect him along side me feels like the biggest weight off my shoulders.

"How about we all go out to eat tonight." Luke offers and the moment is gone for me.

"I hate to be the one to ruin our moment but I don't think ewe can do that just yet. How about we just get a take away pizza for tonight?" I suggest and Luke sends me a look of confusion. "I just don't want anyone to spot us while we try to enjoy our food" I say freeing one hand from under Cass so I can try and smooth down those stray hairs at the top of his head again.

"Oh, right. I'm sorry. I forgot. How about yo two spend the night at the hotel with me. We can have take away there. I'm sure Cass would love it. And no one would see you come in with me because the lads and I come in through a reserve carpark under the hotel. He suggests and I think for a moment.

"What do you think, honey? Would you like to go to daddy's hotel?" I ask Cass and he nods in excitement.

"I wanna go! I wanna go!" He claps before sliding down my body and wobbling up the stairs.

"Luke, can you go help your son pack for me, please? I need o go let dawn know I wont be in tonight." I ask him and he happily obliges. But not before placing a tender kiss on my forehead. We have to keep it slow. If he doesn't, I need to maintain my position. *Keep it together, Emily.*

"Hey, Dawn." I come strolling into the kitchen and she looks up from her hands that are drowning in soapy dish water.

"Yeah?" She asks.

"Cass and I are spending the night with Luke." I inform her and her eyes widen.

"Really? Why?" Is her only response.

"I don't really know. He just wanted us to come over to the hotel with him tonight. I agreed. We thought Cass would like the experience. He doesn't get out much so I think this might just be a good thing for him." I admit and she nods.

"Well, you three be careful." She simply says and turns Back to finish the dishes. I leave out and go back up to my room where I pack an overnight bag.
