"I don't give a shit if we're three days behind! I'll stay put for three fucking years if I have to! Either we find Emily or my son comes with me! I won't be leaving him anywhere without me until we find his mother, And don't ring my goddamn phone unless you have!" I smash the "end call" button and slam my phone on the table. I'm in the conference room where I've spent the past three days with Michael, Calum, Ashton, Dawn, Bailey, Cass, and Charlene Crest.

So much has happened since Emily vanished. I refused to leave without knowing she was okay so we got pushed behind schedule. That was only day one. Yesterday Dawn invited me to stay at the flat with Cass. I insisted on just buying another hotel room but since I wouldn't be able to keep Cass with me I took her offer. The lads did too since the tour's been pushed back as far as a week. If we don't find her soon it'll be completely cancelled. I'll pay that price a thousand times over if it means finding Emily.

Charlene's been a saint considering everything. She played the DS to keep Emily's information involving me and Cass out of the public. She even paid for a full branch search party around the entire 10 mile radius. I wondered why she would go this far for an employee and found out Charlene's 7 year old grand daughter would've died if it weren't for Emily.

From what I was told the little girl was only 5 when it happened. While Charlene and Emily were finishing up a meeting the little girl found her grandmas candy stash and stole a few fireballs. When they came back the little girl was on the floor, blue in the face, and had her mouth stuffed with 2, the third one was already on its way down her throat. Emily hopped into action and made the girl throw everything up, even drove them to the hospital. That's when Charlene found out curious Cass was back home which is how Emily was able to react so fast. After that Emily became Charlene's right hand but never abused her power. She actually insisted on staying with Bailey.

I wish she could've told me that amazing story herself.

Today was harder than hell. I've been getting back to back calls from Margaret about the tour and management but I've already told them where I stand and I don't give a fuck if they dock my pay. They even want me to take a DNA test for cass. I said no at first but they said if I get one and it says I'm Cass's father then they'll expand the search, publicize my end of the search and hopefully avoid the fall out of a canceled tour.

Now here we all are waiting on the next phone to ring.

"This is unbelievable. How has there not been any word concerning the search? Are they even trying?" Dawn throws her arms in the air and slouches back in her seat.

"They're trying as hard as they can. We found the car yesterday." Charlene sighs.

"Yeah, yesterday. She's been missing for three days. She probably wasn't even dropped in that area." Bailey butts in.

"If that's the case who knows if well find her." I chew at my tongue.

"But it's a start. And they're doing all they can considering the fact that you refuse to release her name and face." She gives in.

"She's right, Luke. We can't expect our small cluster of men to comb the entire surrounding area. If we want any chance of finding her alive is to release her name. I can release her name separate from your report to minimize the backlash." She offers and I'm all ears. We all are.

"Okay, let's do it." I sigh.

"I'll set it up for tonight. I'll call the news and she'll be declared missing. At that point everyone will be looking out for her." She assures us and it's like a weight was lifted." I know we'll find her.
