Little Kitten {TW}

Momo is a kitten that got separated from her mother after her sudden death. She was left alone only a year old. A couple months later she was rescued and taken to an animal shelter, where she found her new owner and soon to be lover. Little does the world know she's human-cat hybrid.

Yoo Jeongyeon is a depressed adult who works 3 jobs just to pay rent for the month. Her roommates contribute but the owner of the building takes everything out on her. One day her roommates decide to surprise her and get her a pet to cheer her up. Little did she know what she was getting into.

This is their story...

"No, get this one." Chaeyoung whined. "He's so cute."

Jihyo and Nayeon both walked over to see what Chaeng was talking about.

"He is cute but Jeongyeon needs something small and cuddly. How about a cat. Cats are calm and cuddly. That'll be perfect for her." Jihyo stated while the other two agreed.

"Come on, she'll be home soon. Let's agree on something and go." Nayeon said.

"Thanks, come again." Jeongyeon smiled. After checking the time she silently cheered and cleared her workstation.

"Bye everyone. Good night. See you tomorrow." Jeongyeon closed the door behind her and started her 30 minute walk to her apartment.

"Ah you're back." Jeongyeon nodded. She looked at her roommates as they wore suspicious looks.

"What's going to pop out at me, hurt me, kill me, scar me, or scare me?" Jeongyeon tenses as she took her shoes off and held them in her hands for protection.

"Nothing, I promise. Just look in your room." Nayeon smiled brightly.

Jeongyeon slowly pushed open her bedroom door to reveal no dramatic change but a box on her bed. "What is this?" Stepping close to the box she lifted the flaps and immediately melted.

"Do you like her? I wanted to name her princess but she's yours so I'll let tou decide."

"Is she really mine?" Jeongyeon lifted the tiny animal and held her close to her chest.

"Yeah, of course." Jihyo shrugged.

"You guys know I can't take care of her. I have school and work and bills."

"Don't worry about that. You need something like her to relieve your stress and just cuddle with. Plus she'll help you sleep at night." Chaeyoung stated factly.

Jeongyeon sighed. "You guys know-" Meow. Jeongyeon immediately cuddled her and cooed. "Thank you guys so much. I love you all so much."

Jeongyeon had left for work about an hour ago, leaving Momo all alone in the house.

It was about 8 pm and Jeongyeon didn't get off work until 2 am. Jihyo and Nayeon have night classes that get a 10 pm and Chaeyoung is at a friends house studying.

Momo decided do leave her cat form and persue her human form.

"What can I eat. I'm so hungry." Momo thought aloud.

She settled for a packet of microwavable Ramen and decided to watch TV.

It was now around 12 am and Momo was still alone; she was starting to feel lonely.

"When are they coming back? I'm so lonely."

Momo got up to check the fridge for any food just as the door turned and the door opened.

Momo quickly assumed her cat form and ran to thr door.

Jeongyeon walked through the door looking exhausted. Momo ran up to her and rubbed her face on her leg. Startled by the action, Jeongyeon accidentally kicked Momo as she walked around her feet.

"Oh my god. My poor baby. I'm so sorry. I totally forgot about you. Work got in my head." Jeongyeon lifted the small animal and cuddled it to her chest. "I'm so sorry princess. That'll never happen again." Momo purred in response.

"Meow." Momo spoke forgetting that she's in her cat form and tried to talk to human.

She struggled to get out of her owners arms as she jump atop the counter and typed on a conveniently open computer.

I. Have. Something. To. Tell. You.
Please. Don't. Freak. Out. Or. Give. Me. Away. As. I. Have. Lost. My. Mom. And. Home.

Momo looked up at her owner with big hopeful eyes. Jeongyeon tilted her head to the side.

"Okay. What's-" Before Jeongyeon could even finish, a beautiful woman sat atop the kitchen counter.

"Whoa, what the-" Jeongyeon stumbled back and fell onto the couch.

"You promised you wouldn't freak out." She stepped closer to the frighten girl who was running away.

"How could I not. My cat just turned into a freaking human." Jeongyeon attempted to close the door but the girl slipped through and locked the door behind her.

"Listen here Jeongyeon. I am a hybrid. Your friends didn't know when they picked me out at the rescue shelter. Please let me stay. As I said, my mother was killed and I have no home."

Jeongyeon sighed.

"How often can you change?"

Momo shrugged. "Whenever I want."

"Can you eat cat food?"

"Only when I'm a cat. I love Jokbal though. I had it once at the shelter when this man dropped in in my cage." Momo licked her lips reminiscing the taste of her favorite food.

"You can stay under one condition." Jeongyeon spoke pointly. Momo smiled.

"You transform when I say you can, you kept this a secret from my roomates, and don't take up my bed."

Momo jumped into Jeongyeon's arms and hugged her tightly. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!"
