The End of the Beginning pt 1 {TW}

"Candles, check, roses are fresh, food is hot, table is set. What do you think?" The small girl looked up at the anxious giant.

The nervous wreck ran her hand through her messy hair apprehensively. She was incredibly nervous for her big date tonight. She's been seeing this girl for about 4 months now and she wanted to ask her 'the question'.

"It looks perfect Chaeng, I mean you didn't think I would give you anything less than that, right?" Yoo Jeongyeon, her best friend, flipped her short hair off her shoulder.

Chaeyoung sighed. "No, I didn't. Thanks so much Jeongyeon-ah. This means a lot. She's gonna love it." Jeongyeon smiled and hugged her friend. "Do you need me to do anything else?" Chaeyoung thought for a while before shaking her head. Without any additional words, Jeongyeon patted her shoulder and walked towards her car.

She couldn't believe it. Jeongyeon really hooked her up. She set up a romantic candle-light dinner on the beach with rose petals that led to a cute little beach set up with a bottle of Sparkling Cider.

"Chaeng, let's go. You still have to buy a nice dress and get ready." Snapping out of her mind, Chaeyoung raced to the car.

Meanwhile with Mina

"Sweetheart wear this, it makes your eyes pop." Sana, Mina's Japanese friend, pulled out a cute summer dress. "Sana-chan, I can't wear that. That's too casual." Sana pouted and reluctantly put the dress back to it's rightful place.

16 no's later, both girls were frustrated and hopeless. "Let's just go buy a dress or something." Sana wasn't mad at that suggestion. Both of them rose off the bed and started for the door. As if on cue, Jeongyeon waltzed in. "Go shower and put this on, you have 30 minutes. Hi babe." Sana received a pack on the cheek and Mina complied.

With Chaeyoung

"Check mate." Chaeng sighed. The score was now two to zero. "You know, beating you is getting boring." She added pridefully. "I know but Jeongyeon told me to keep your mind off of your whole date thing. She said you were really nervous."

Then it all hit her. She hasn't thought of the whole date since her and her friend left the beach. Now it's all coming back.

"I have to get ready. I'm gonna be late." Chaeyoung shot out of her seat and ran out the front door. "YOU FORGOT YOUR GAME!" Momo yelled after the girl, although she was gone.

Surprisingly, Chaeng arrived at her apartment in under 2 minutes. It wasn't until she got out of the shower and started to get dressed when she realized she needed a haircut. So she ran out to the closest barber and hoped they could squeeze her in.

"Hello I'm Tzuyu, what can I do for you?" The sweet woman behind the counter spoke. "Hi, I need a haircut. I don't have an appointment but I have a really big date in 3 hours and I really hope you can squeeze me in." The poor girl pleaded. "Um, we don't accept walk ins, I'm sorry." But the small girl wasn't taking no as an answer. "Can you please looked to see when the next appointment." The young woman didn't see the harm in it, so she checked. "The next appointment is in about an hour." The young woman smiled. That was enough for Chaeyoung to run in the back and ask any available person to give her a haircut. Not before the young woman chased behind him.

It was currently 30 minutes before Mina and Chaeng were supposed to meet each other for their special night. Neither of them felt like they were 100% ready but who is.
