Chapter-19- The Goddess & the Test

Within Reubens embrace, I said to myself "Thank you pa". Reuben wraps his other arm around me, his head down peering at me as I glance up at him, his eyes alive. For the first time, I hear his thoughts "I would give anything for you. Your wish will always be my command. Owner of my soul" Surprised I heard him, I smile turning red saying in return "as mine is yours" Reubens' face changes to a slight red. I did not know then why he blushed. Later, he told me because he heard my wolf speak.

I turn facing Reuben. Looking at him, I see he's a little pale. I panic. "What's wrong? Your turning pale pa?". Seeing the concern as he peers at me, Reuben says "Can we move inside Mulatto, I need to lie down sweetheart. I will explain this time." I support him inside laying him on the sofa. Then ask, "Why are you turning pale?" My concern mixes with frustration at not being capable to resolve the ailment. Outside, a previously cloudless sky develops rumbling thundershowers. Unknown to me, my emotions are making this happen.

"My gift allows me to free earth bonded spirits. I am doing the opposite with Adelphi. I am keeping her here. Adelphi is getting power from Crimson to remain on this plane. Long enough to have closure with her offspring" Now I turn pale! WHAT!!

Reuben Continues "Don't worry mulatto, I am fine just a little weak. Adelphi was a powerful seer when she lived which means she needs more power to continue. Crimson will sever the link at my command." Extending my hand caressing Alejandro's face. Using my thumb, I rub his skin "Carmen has received my most profound appreciation and her mother, my deepest gratitude. I chose to show my gratitude for what her mother has done for me." To ease his concern, I change the subject matter with a brief laugh "besides, If I play sick to have you lay down next to me, will you?" Alejandro smiles as I dry hump him twice.

I laugh standing up retrieving a blanket for us. Reuben shuffles back on the sofa giving me space to lay next to him while talking to him. "Weeell there are people here and so YA GONNA HAVE TO WAIT BUDDY!" we laugh as I become comfortable lying next to him. He kisses me whispering in my ear "I love you, Alejandro, I always will. Thank the Goddess Ochum she brought us together at last." Wrapping his right arm across my belly he draws me tighter to him and dry humps my bum. "go to sleep pa", I turn over placing my ass away from him and out of REACH! He grumbles "not fair" we chuckle. Soon, in his huge arms I fall asleep, my head resting on Reuben's chest.

Drifting to dreamland. Once more i find myself in the woodlands running. Crimson is running alongside me, giving me a feeling of elation taking over us. We arrived at the dwelling sooner this time. The goddess was there. Again, she calls, this time to us both "My children you have arrived". We both appear out of the woods, starting up the trail. I hesitate a little. Crimson comes back licking my hand once "Come, love, she's been expecting you." Squatting down, we touch foreheads and I am no longer frightened.

Reuben phases as we approach. Both bare naked, Reuben hugs her. Yet it does not upset me. "Hello my son," the goddess says as she gestures and receives me in a hug only Reuben can equal. "Mother" is all I spoke. She releases me. Then I see Estrella mom's wolf and rush to her.

She makes a brief-excited bark, jumping up to embrace me. Placing her forelegs on my shoulders she licks my face once. I hug her tight "He found me, mommy, my mate". Estrella responds "Yes Alejandro, I see and a fine mate he is. He will die for you, Alejandro. In your darkest hour turn to him," she releases me now, coming back to all fours turning towards the goddess "Come, baby, Mother was speaking with you. I have raised you better than that." Feeling embarrassed "Sorry, mom your right" The goddess laughs "You raised him well Estrella you should be proud" Estrella sticks out her chest proud and beams with dignity "Thank you, Goddess. I am" Love from her eyes lighting up for me.
