Chapter -39- Ruben : A Home

The next morning when I woke up, it was about 11:00 am. After showering I towel off and put on some sweats. Coming back out, I Kiss my angel on his cheek and silently close the door behind me and head to the kitchen. I left my ALEXI, Sleeping. He has gone thru so much these past few days and years. He deserves a good sleep. Although I fought my desire to crawl back in bed beside him. I also felt my raging hard-on and realized, I MIGHT RAPE HIM!! Breakfast was already cooked when I got to the kitchen. I see my parents having coffee with a nervous looking Robert. I join them preparing a cup of coffee and sitting at the table with them. A few of the pack members had gone hunting.

"Good morning Alpha" Robert takes a sip of his coffee.

"Hey Robert, good morning how did you sleep?"

His eyes shift nervously "well Alpha thank you"

I hear shuffling coming from where I just came from Looking up, I see ALEXI coming down the hall with Bella walking beside him. I tell him "Couldn't sleep?" I smile at his cranky response "Not anymore, you weren't there." Next, he turns to everyone "Good Morning all. Hey, Robert, nice to see you again" he smiles at Robert as he gives me a morning kiss and goes to sit on my lap. Alpha who was staring at me a little jealous of how I met eyes with Luna Alexi. I nervously smile at luna "Good Morning Luna". Moving my gaze away. After a sip of coffee ALEXI asks me "have you decided yet?"

"Yes, Luna. I will do it as soon as we get back to the pack house." Robert suddenly freezes and scents the air and becomes immediately anxious. A second late he grabs his coffee and his homemade toastada (toasted buttered bread) and with a brief "I am sorry please excuse me" reaching the door he steps outside. We hear a crash and from the kitchen window, see a wulf leaping aross the riverbank and disappear into the brush. He left in a hurry.

Everyone present stares out the window, hearing other pack members entering the kitchen asking for coffee. Dona Rosa goes to serve them as she begins speaking with us. Facing us she says "um, about that mijo. Your father and I would like to stay here with your brother, his mate and the pack. We think it would be too much for them to leave and go to a territory that would be new and strange to them. Especially with Clementina due any day now. We think it would be best for her to give birth here after all, the only home they have ever known." Don Yonell interrupts "The soon to be GRANDMOTHER, decided for us." chuckling.

Grinning to my mother "I think that's a great idea Mami. As matter of fact I wanted to discuss something with my Luna with all of you present. " Placing my arms around Alexi's waist, turning him to me looking directly into his beautiful alluring Silver eyes. "I know this feels like home to you mulatto. I see you're happy here. I also spoke with my mother in law last night about it. she agreed and gave us her blessings. So, I was wondering....... if you would LIKE.......... to make this to be OUR NEW HOME and territory PERMANENTLY." I see the sudden shocked expression Alexi demonstrates as his jaw gapes open with surprise. "Are you serious? but our packs? what will they think? I mean YES!!" cupping my face in his hands he kisses me hard.

Ruben tells me this and I squeeze the hell out of him. As he chuckles from within my neck hug Ruben says to me "I take that as a yes then?" we hear the whole pack HOWL outside joined by those inside. I jump surprised turning to the entranceway of the kitchen. Tito, Clementina, Carmen, Randall and other pack members were standing there "Thank you, Luna," Tito says. "Thank you, my Luna," says a grinning Clementina. I look to see Bella's head turned away, tail wagging furiously, ears dropping. I look back at Ruben nodding "yea, she was telling everyone." I say grinning as I drinks some of my coffee. My eyes reflecting happiness.

Randall comes to me saying as he congratulates & hugs us "AWW DAM, I guess I gonna have ta get used to pink dick WHITE BOYS!" Carmen hits him behind the head "OUCH" and Randall clears his throat correcting himself saying "Yes my Luna" winking with a big smile. Sending me a private Wulf speak "Pink Dick Gurl ! Pink Dick! Like da pink glow sticks. Pink glow gurl. POKE IN DA DARK MAMA!"

"Your happiness is all that matters to me," says a tail wagging Bella. Dona Rosa comes around the table to me and gives me a kiss. Her eyes fall to Ruben as her last words are said she's hugging me "Thank you both Alpha and......" looking at me "MY Luna". The pride in her last statement strike both a mixture of happiness and sadness within me. They have loyalty and faith in me. Their loyalty is pure, While I still don't know who I am. I realize, I do need Sable back. But not for me, for them, my family.

We all sit to brunch. During Brunch, Ruben calls Thom and fills him in. Thom is excited saying "Actually I loved it there ALPHA!" Then he instructs him to call the packs real estate lawyers to begin the paperwork. After hanging up the phone, Ruben returns to me and tells me he wants to show me how to phase. I excitedly accept quickly but notice Clementina and Tito walking off to talk. From the distance they had gone, I know they don't want to talk in front of us so, I do not 'wulf ear' drop. Instead, I let it go as Ruben now takes my hand in his and begins leading us outside.

Ruben begins talking to me as we walk outside, "You remember yesterday how I helped Tito phase to human form?" "Yes". He continues "I will be doing the same thing but with an image of you phasing, releasing Sable. Take the image and make it your own, internalize it, Call to Sable as you did to your mother last night." After reaching the spot where Ruben takes me to stand. Randall & Carmen notice I am getting nervous. They walk up to me asking "you sure you ready?" I am scared as hell and nervous but, for the sake of my pack and mate I must try.

I give them a nervous nod Yes. Ruben had taken off his shirt and was untying his sweatpants strings til he notices the pack gathering around me, and he stops. He walks quickly back to me "Mulatto, we don't have to do this. We all accept you as you are." His hands, resting on my shoulders, causes me to relax. His voice was ALPHA strong, but in his eyes, I see my tender mate.

My response is firm "I am to become Luna of our pack. I may be scared as hell, but I have to try." He sees the conviction in mine. Ruben gives me a cheek kiss and returns to his spot continuing to undress. One of the pack members brings us towels as I finish undressing. I wrap the towel given to me around my waist, tucking It's point, following Rubens example. He walks back to me again this time he hugs me "Are you Ready?" I look deep into the eyes of my mate and know, I will always be safe "yes". He hugs me one more time "I love you Alexi. I will be right here" and kisses me before returning to his position.
