The next morning was a rush one. I did not want to give my anxiety a chance to set root and make me nervous enough where I back out of meeting his pack. So, we decided on grabding coffee and food on the road on the way to Ruben's pack house.

THIS, however did not go well with my fussing mother-in-law Dona Rosa who wanted us to eat breakfast. I told her it was Rubens idea to go without eating (YES, I LIED!!! SPANISH MOTHERS GO NUTS WHEN YOU DECLINE THEIR COOKING!!)

During our four-hour ride, my mind was on poor Robert who was sitting in the drivers sit with the partition Closed as well as on my brother Randall who was clueless about his true destined mate being only two feet from him. Smiling to myself as we started up the driveway to the pack house. But seeing its immense size, I quickly put it outta my mind awed at the size of my mates' home.

Rubens pack House looked more like a Mansion from the Plantation times. I was shocked at its immensity. Thinking "So much for privacy" As I watched the pack come out to greet us. They poured out like ants from the single doorway. All living in one place Hmmm, I like the thought of that.

I recognized thom immediately. The power of his wulf radiated off him in waves. Seeing his smile made me feel less awkward.

Still, seeing this many wilves, I remembered when I walked around in town it was my packs territory I did not mind so much. But any thought of privacy was out the window. Right now, however I took in the excitement of this pack waiting to meet their Luna.

It made me miss home. I look to Carmen and she speaks to me using Wulf speak "Reminds you of home huh?

Knowing she was indirectly hinting at sex I scream "MA REALLY!" but I am laughing also. "There is just so much going on Toti. I am about to meet RUBEN's pack and I am nervous."

"Only if Carmen comes here" She laughs. Mom now gets right to the point "You're going to be fine. Just relax and remember. They are your pack now. They will accept you. Especially since I know Sable has returned"
