Chapter -27- I have Always Loved You

Watching my small family with pride, in my mind I speak to the sleeping form of my soul companion "THIS. is our pack ALEXI, Our Family" feeling complete my heart lifts, my spirit soars and chest swells, I'm happy they accepted him, My Crimson.

My conviction further fortified knowing, I will welcome death's cold embrace protecting all of them. Meeting eyes with RUBEN, both lock on one another happy with a light of pure love and passion, both eyes simply alive.

Ruben's stare remains locked looking at me the whole time as, from my peripheal, behind him. I see the pair approached the porch. Now, he comes to me and I remain seated watching him advance.

Sable. My focus solely on him as I walk down the two steps heading towards my destined mate. At last I am whole. Sable's tail begins wagging slowly then furiously releasing a small whine, he shifts his forelegs once following my approach, just as excited to be with me as I him with him.

Arriving in front of him, I sit on the ground indian style before him. My sight unable to continuing at his beauty, turning downwards like a child as I now start fiddling with my sweating hands, rubbing one over the other. When I speak my voice reveals profound soft gentleness and affection "Your Beautiful" eyes still casting downwards looking into my fidgety hands. Sable's soft look fixed, watching me in my nervousness.

I gaze at my mate. I Feel whole, at peace knowing I'm home "Thank you, mate."

Ruben looks up "You fight magnificently Sable". Meeting my gaze with deep emerald glowing eyes growing darker by the second. Crimson is trying hard to push his way out. I look into emerald eyes deeply searching. Then, finding him, the one I sought. I speak to him. "My strong handsome Crimson you found me. We will have plenty of time to run free. But I must ask you be patient a little longer for I must speak to RUBEN for now. I love you and will never leave your side, for at long last, we are united. Sleep my mate" with those words, I see RUBEN's battle of wills comes to a stop, the battle is over. Crimson goes to sleep.

My Wulf Speak tone full of emotion is directed to Sable "For years I have searched and longed for you. Can I ask you why it took so long?"

My Wulf Speak, equally, gentle, as softly I say "ALEXI loves you as I do Crimson. His amnesia & fear block his full awareness. This is what has kept us apart but that will end soon" I see Sable's last words are said with pride as his chest expands outward. "Now that we also have our mate.".

Ruben leans towards me & wraps his big arms around my neck, burying his face in my neck fur. "I held you, for years in my heart now I can hold you, in my arms" I close my eyes resting my head across Rubens' shoulders on his back. Feeling peace come over me feeling whole.

Rubens whispered verbal voice cracks, his emotions pouring out "you are my mate. There is no limit to what I will not do. for you Sable" I pull back and start licking his face. When I am done I say "I have asked Coco to allow you to train Alexi. With your appearance now it is Only you who can help re-establish our bond. Crimson, when I thought you were threatened I forced the phase. Putting Alexi to sleep. When I phase back Alexi will not know I came as even now he sleeps, Catch him"

I look to Sable, my mate with amazement. "I will always be yours to command"

My eyes show love and happiness "One more thing RUBEN" I Pause momentarily. Looking to my pack then back to my mate "Way before his trauma. Alexi would talk to me about our mate. We always knew we would find you. One day he told me he would always love you. Even if it meant leaving our pack. From the time his trauma started & now. Alexi would think of you as he sat on the balcony of our home. I could feel his pain as tears would come down his face when he spoke with Celeste of finding his mate, Of his fear. He would wonder what you looked like, what did you enjoy eating, what your laugh was like, and if you snored. Of the decision he may be forced to make.

At other time he wondered if you could accept him being only halved, and it scared him the thought of you rejecting him. He came here to find not only his memories, but his hope was to also find you. I look down into my hands fumbling with my fingers. I am ashamed. I had almost given up, slowly closing my heart from the people who cared about me. I, the powerful reputed fire Wulf ALPHA of the MOUNTAIN CRIMSON PACK was sitting on the ground with tears coming down in streams like never in my life. Alexi, he had fear yet did not falter. Alexi, my wonderful Alexi wondered if I would accept him? Why? OF COURSE, I WOULD ACCEPT HIM!! HE IS MY MATE!!! I SEARCHED THE WORLD OVER FOR HIM!! My chest ached.

My nerves, causing me to tremble because now I understood. I understood exactly how special My mate is, no, how he will always be to me. Crimson speaks "you are learning and now, the Goddess has blessed you with the opportunity to know"

When next I lift my head Sable was standing. Sable licks my face, cleaning away my tears. I hug Sable one more time, only hard for all he is worth to me, which is my very breath. Our foreheads touched, I kissed his muzzle, Crimson looks thru my eyes. Glowing Emerald Green eyes. I hear Crimson say, "I love you SABLE" Then I stood up.

I can see him, my wulf mate and respond "As I you Crimson" I gaze once more at my mate next, I turn my head toward my family, I am so proud. I breathe in deep, my chest expanding with pride. I hold my head high, my tail curled high above me, my family is complete. I blink once to my family, Wulf speaking "My family" all four respond in unison "Forever". I then point my head to the sky and howl. My song for all the world to know. I Sable....... have a family. All four members join me. With that, I phase, and a sleeping ALEXI now emerges from the mist to fall into Rubens awaiting arms.
