Today marks the day where Chase and I are going to meet for the first time. It is Sunday, 10 am, and I'm getting ready to pick up Chase from the airport along with my mother who was generous enough to let Chase stay at the house in the guest bedroom. I dress ed up a bit as a first impression:

I put on a bit of eyeliner, mascara and did my brows.. Didn't want to be too caked on.
"are you ready to go y/n we have to be at the airport at 12 and I'm not trying to be in traffic!" My mom yells from downstairs
"I'm ready, let me just get my phone" I reply back
I grab my phone from the top of my desk and we head out. We were driving to the airport when Chase text me:
Chase✌🏻: Hey, I'm about to land, are you at the airport yet?
Y/n: I'm almost there, we'll be waiting outside the baggage area
Chase✌🏻: Alright.. can't wait😆
Y/n: Same here!!!!
Chase✌🏻: See yah :)

As we we park in-front of baggage claim, I get out of the car and stood. Afterwards, my heart starts to beat out of my chest because I was freaking nervous to see Chase. Then.. I see him walking out of the airport with his luggage looking around, he spots me and smiled. I saw him too and I couldn't help myself.. so I ran to him and hugged him, dropping his luggage. We were just in each other's arms for about a minute until we broke off.
"Chase I can't believe it you're here!!!" I yell excitedly
"I can't believe it either! But damn your pretty short in person" He rested his arm on my shoulder
"Can't say the same about you but wow you are super tall like a giraffe" I giggle a bit
"Hey not funny" He tries to act mad but fails
"Hey guys sorry to ruin your little moment but we have a reservation at a restaurant," my mother says
"Oh yeah that's right, let me show you the way to the car," I said guiding Chase
Once we got to the car he placed his luggage in the back and went into the car. I was sitting in the front while he was in the back. I just stared at him through the rearview mirror. I still couldn't believe he was actually here.
- Skip forward to the restaurant
As settled down into our seats my mom decides to sit next to me while Chase sits in the opposite side.. way to go, mom. We start looking through the menu when I see out of the corner of my eye Chase glancing at me, it made me blush.
"So Chase what made you come to San Jose?" My mother asks
Oh no...
"To be honest I wanted to come visit San Jose to see what the lifestyle was like here and to see y/n of course," Chase says while smiling at me
I look down at the ground blushing hard.
"How did you and y/n meet?"
"We actually meet on social media.. she seemed like a pretty cool person so we started talking to each other and we became friends after that"
"Well, that's nice... y/n has been non stop talking about you like how you're such a sweet and funny boy"
"Okay mom you can stop now," I said staring at her with wide eyes
"I was just telling him the truth"
I signed and place my hand on my forehead and Chase just chuckled so I made a face at him ( somewhat like this 🙃 idk💀💀💀)
"What? It was adorable" Chase said
"Shut up," I said jokingly
After our mini convo, we ordered our food and started to eat.
