14:Food fights and street lights

I woke up and the sun was hitting me right in the face... What a great way to wake up. I sit up on my bed and rub my eyes so I can get a clearer vision of my clock. 11 am. I walk to my bathroom and take a quick shower. Then I throw on this outfit for the day:

I walk downstairs and made myself some waffles when someone comes from behind me causing me to flinch. I turn around and oh who would've known.. It's Chase
*btw he's wearing this for the day:

"CHASE you gotta stop doing that you know I get scared easily," I say as I turn around to finish up my waffles

"Aw, alright ill stop.. Eventually" Chase said mumbling the last part

"I heard that you know," I said not taking my eyes off my waffles

"whatcha making there y/n," Chase said peaking over to see my plate

I turn around facing him, " my breakfast" I make clear.

"OOo Can I have s-"

I stopped him by putting syrup on his nose causing him to just stand there with a dumb face

I giggled, " let me think about that..no"

"Oh, you wanna play it like that.. Oh I'll play like that" he then goes to the refrigerator and grabs some whip cream and puts it on my face

"CHASE W- OH YOU SO GETTING IT" With that, I grab the syrup bottle and Chased him throughout the kitchen until he falls on the floor and I trip on him making me fall on top of him.

We laugh and catch our breaths until we make full eye contact with each other. It looked like he was getting closer to my face so I backed up and got off the floor then cleaned up the mess. It stayed silent for a bit until I said

"Soo do you want waffles after all" I chuckled a bit

"Yea" He scratched the back of his neck and we ate our food.

Once we finished, I go upstairs and redo my makeup, I'm just doing a natural look btw. I head downstairs and Chase is in the living room watching tv. I go sit on the couch right next to him.

"So are you ready for today?" i ask him

"It depends what are we doing"

"Well we are going to the zoo where we are going to swim with live piranhas then we are going to rock climb a 100 feet cliff." I gave him an innocent smile at the end.

He just looked at me like I was crazy.

"Just kidding! Were heading downtown so you can get a feel of the city more"

He paused then laughed

"Oh okay that sounds way more better than swimming with live piranhas or rock climbing"

"Haha yea, so lets get going shall we,our uber should be here in like 5 minutes" I say looking at my phone to see the time

Once our uber was outside the house I lock the front door and Chase and I head in the back of the car. My mom was working, but she trust me and Chase to be by ourselves.

We got to downtown where the uber dropped us off at Plaza de Cesar Chavez.

Plaza de Cesar Chavez is surrounded by a bunch of shops,hotels and restaurants.

Chase took a moment to look around the place.

"Woah... its so green here"

I laughed at that

"I used to go here when I was little playing around in the fountain over there" I pointed to a large fountain where little kids were playing while their parents were recording them.

"Lets go walk around, there is a lot that I want to show you!" I said excitedly

Me and Chase have been walking around downtown for like an hour and Chase loves the city, especially the cool little shops. It was getting to the point where Chase and I were getting hungry so we go to San Pedro Square to get something to eat.

We settle down at a Vietnamese restaurant and get seated inside, in front of a window. I looked through the menu and went for their Pho; Chase orders Beef Tri-Tip. As our waitress comes to our table, she begins.

"Hello welcome to On a Roll, shall we start off wi-" she stops and takes a good look at Chase before continuing.

"Chase?"
