23: 'Publicity'

"Chase meet Skylar"

I get up from my chair to meet this girl.

"Hi I'm Chase nice to meet you" I pull out my hand

"Hello I'm Skylar" she grabs my hand to shake it

For some reason my body gets all jittery, her hand were so soft to the touch.

Skylar was a pretty girl, Long wavy brown hair, caramel eyes and tan skin.

"So since you are growing more, me and your team have decided to help you raised more money for your brand by having you make publicity with Skylar" Dev said while smiling at Skylar

I couldn't believe what I was hearing Dev wants me to fake date Skylar just to make money off of me! Unbelievable... Ugh, what do I do?

"So you want me to fake date Skylar?" i questioned

Dev laughs "yes thats basically it.. so you two will be making public appearances and act all cute taking hashtag selfies or whatever you kids do these days" he chuckles

"Um-"

"Im just going to leave Skylar here so you two can get to know more of each other before you first appearances tomorrow " Dev said as he left and closed my office door

Did he just say tomorrow ?!

I meet eyes with Skylars light brown eyes and they look like setting sunsets... just like y/n's

"So Skylar tell me about yourself" I go to sit on my couch, Skylar follows

"My full name is Skylar Brewcheko and I'm from North Carolina. I am 16 years old. I love to sing and dance, very typical but its what I love to do. I love Fashion, mostly street fashion. Lastly, I want to do fashion business when Im older." She smiles at the end.

Woah okay so she's definitely girly(not that there is anything wrong with that)and shes a year older than me.. what even.

"North Carolina, thats on the opposite side of cali, did my manager fly you out here?" I ask

"Yes he did, he reached out to me saying there was a 'project' he wanted me to work for, and he would fly me out.. would have never expected to fake date someone"

"And have you ever heard of me?"

"My friends bring you up here and there but I was never interested in seeing what was up, until now"

"Okay cool, I didn't want you to be like those crazy fans that know everything about me and just gawk"

"Who said I couldn't gawk?" She raised her right brow and smirked a bit

I swear I was blushing, I laugh nervously and decided to change the subject

"Anyways, so I guess were going to be 'together' for a while"

"yup guess so"

next day (y/n's Pov)

I invited Selena over so we could hang out and get fat. We were in the living slouching when Selena slaps my shoulder.

"Ow!" I sarcastically said

"YOU GOTTA LOOK AT THIS!" She shoves her phone to my face, I grab it to get a better look.

It was a post from the same account that supposedly exposed me and Chase.
