Chapter 7

The three Gastly flew back to the room King Boo was in.

"Your majesty, we got some bad news" the Gastly in the middle said.

"We've been defeated by the rat and the coward" the one in the left explained.

"We had them but that rat used a strong attack that shocked us and Luigi attacked us too. It was awful!!" The one on the right replied. The other two nodded in agreement.

"Hm..." King Boo was thinking. "I didn't expect this to happen again. That yellow pest must be helping him" he turned back to the Gastly. "I want you three to bring me that mouse!"He ordered.

"As you wish sire" the one in the middle replied. The three left the King again.

King Boo turned to Mario. "Looks like you're brother got some help and somehow defeated three of my greatest boos. A Mouse Pokemon is helping him, a Pikachu to be exact, but my boos will catch it and soon Luigi will be alone and vulnerable for us to catch him" King Boo smiled.

"He found help?!" Mario asked.

"Yes, but we won't give up tell we have both of you" King Boo answered.

"This Pikachu is helping my brother. Then there's still hope! I know he can do this" Mario thought.

"Don't expect that he'll defeat me again" King Boo retorted as if he read Mario's mind.

"He will! I believe that he will!" Mario replied. "He'll defeat you, I know it! He-" Mario was suddenly hit by a Focus Blast as he winced in pain by the surprise attack.

"Shut up you little fool!! That's a warning or it'll become worse for you and your brother! I don't think you want Luigi getting hurt now, do you?!" King Boo taunted.

"Ugh..." Mario groaned, but he simply shook it off. "Y-you won't hurt him!"

"Try me!!" King Boo shouted. "My boos are already after him and the pesky mouse too!"

Mario growled at that statement. "I know he won't get him. Luigi's stronger than he thinks he is."

Luigi walked close by Lightning's side, staying aware of his surroundings as if something would jump out at them.

Klefki stayed hidden in his scruff afraid to come out of her hiding spot.

"Have you picked up your brother's scent yet?" Lightning asked.

"No not yet" Luigi answered. "I just hope we find him soon. I don't know how much longer I can take, going through this mansion."

Luigi sneezed from all the dust in the mansion and ran into a few cobwebs that he had to shake off.

"Me too!" Lightning agreed.

Suddenly, the three Gastly appeared in front of them again.

"You three again! What do you want?!" Lightning asked, sparks coming out of her red cheeks.

"Oh nothing just...YOU!!" The middle one cried as they disappeared and reappeared surrounding her.

Lightning gasped. "What?! What do you want with me?!" She asked.

"Oh our ruler wants us to bring you to him. You'll be useful for us" the left Gastly answered.

"Your ruler? Useful?" Lightning was confused of what the Gastly meant.

The Gastly floated closer to her. "L-leave her alone" Luigi cried.

"What are you going to do about it?!" One of them replied.

Luigi charged a Shadow Ball and released it at them. They backed away from Lightning.

"Thank you" she said.

"No probl-ah!" Luigi was hit by a Sludge Bomb attack. As he collapsed to the ground and winced in pain.

"Luigi!!!" Lightning cried.

The Gastly then used Psychic as Luigi was picked up from the ground. He struggled to get free but to no avail.

"Let him go!!!!" Lightning demanded. She hit them with Iron Tail as Luigi was dropped to the ground face first. He slowly got to his feet. Lightning rushed by his side. "Are you alright?!" She asked him.

"I'm fine, thanks" he replied.

"Thank Arceus you're alright" she said.

The Gastly trio weren't finished yet. They all combined their shadow balls into one big one.

Luigi gasped upon the sight of it. "What do we do now?!" He asked terrified.

Lightning was lost in thought for a while until she got it. "I know a move we can use" she answered.

"I'll use Electro ball and you use Shadow Ball" Lightning instructed.

Luigi did as he was told and Lightning charged her attack both aiming at the Gastly. "Release you're attack now!" She tells him. They both unleash their attacks. The Shadow Ball and Electro Ball combined together to create an Electro Shadow Ball. The attack hit the surprised trio and they were all knocked out.

"We did it!!" Luigi and Lightning said in unison.

Klefki came out of Luigi's scruff filled with excitement. "That was awesome!!!" She cried circling them.

"Thanks!" They replied.

"Well let's keep going so we can get out of this place" Klefki replied going back inside Luigi's scruff.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go find that Mario. I can't wait to meet him" Lightning smiled.

"Yeah no one can" Luigi thought to himself. "Yeah, let's a go" he told her.
