Mario, Luigi, Lightning and Klefki left the mansion as Luigi told Mario all he knew while they walked through the forest. "Mario, I think Peach has been taken to this world and is being held captive by Bowser."
"How do you know that?" Mario asked.
"I heard a Sylveon calling for someone named Mario to help her." Lightning told him.
"So it can't be a joke. This is a whole new world Mario, nobody knows us like they do at home." Luigi said.
"Well let's a go save the princess" Mario replied.
"Whole new world? Back home? Princess? You're talking like this is some kind of fairy tale?" Lightning said confused.
"Well..." Luigi said.
"We're not exactly from the Pokémon world" Mario finished.
"What do you mean? You're from a different world?" Lightning asked.
"Well yeah..." Mario answered.
"What is your world like?" Lightning asked.
"Well it's a wonderful place called the Mushroom Kingdom..." Mario began.
"The Mushroom Kingdom?"
"Yes" Luigi nodded.
"My brother and I are the heroes who save Peach from the evil Koopa King Bowser" Mario said.
"What's a Koopa?" Lightning asked.
"Well it's a-" Mario was interrupted from a screech coming from above.
"Yveltal" Lightning said.
"Bowser" Luigi replied.
"Come on we need to hide" Lightning grabbed both of the brothers by the paw and pulled them into a small hole in a tree trunk.
They saw a huge shadow pass them. Luigi trembled as Mario hugged him tightly to keep him calm. They waited tell Yveltal was gone before coming back out of their hiding place.
"Come on guys, we need to keep moving" Lightning told them.
Suddenly, Mario's stomach begins to growl and so does Luigi's. They looked at Lightning.
"You two are hungry aren't you?" Lightning asked. Both brothers nodded.
"Come on, I know there are berries here somewhere" Lightning said.
Mario and Luigi followed Lightning.

After a few minutes of walking, Luigi finds a bush with blue berries on them.
"Those are Rawst berries from the look of it" Lightning explained.
Luigi rushes towards the bush and picked four berries. Unbeknownst to him, two large Pokeballs began to move around in the bush. The Pokeballs belonged to a Pokémon called Amoonguss. Lightning gained sight of them.
"Luigi, look out!!!" She gasped, but it was too late. The Amoonguss struck Luigi with a Poison Powder.
"Luigi!!!" Mario and Lightning cried in unison. They rushed over to him.
"What's wrong with him?" Mario asked.
"He's been poisoned" Lightning answered.
"What?!" Mario gasped. "There has to be a way to cure him."
"There is... A Pecha berry will heal him from poison. We just have to find one. I'll be right back, just watch him. Make sure he doesn't move much or the poison will get worse." Lightning told him before running off to find a Pecha berry to help Luigi.
After a few minutes, she returned with the berry. "Here! Give him this!" Lightning said, handing the berry to Mario.
"Thank you!" Mario replied. He gave the berry to Luigi and helped him chew and swallow it. Luigi groggily opened his eyes and looked up at Mario.
"Luigi, are you okay?" Mario asked.
"I-I think so. Thank you! That's just what I needed" Luigi told him.
"Come on Weegie. We better keep moving" Mario told him, helping him up.
"Okay!" Luigi replied.
Mario, Luigi, Lightning and Klefki took shelter in a cave to eat their berries and rest.

Later that night, a certain Amoonguss walked towards Yveltal who was perched on a rock. "Sire, I've got some news to share with you!" The Amoonguss said.
"What is it you overgrown mushroom!!" The Yveltal said.
"T-The Mario brothers are in this world , your majesty" the Mushroom Pokémon stuttered.
"What?! Bring them to me!!" The Yveltal replied.
"Don't worry your majesty. We'll have them taken care of this time. I did poison the green one." The Amoonguss said.
"Good! That'll slow them down for sure. Now find them and don't you dare fail me!!" The Yveltal bellowed.
"As you wish, your majesty" the Amoonguss bowed before leaving.
