Lightning's dream: "Help us..." Lightning's ears perked. She could hear the brothers calling for help. She remembered to take in her surroundings as she saw she wasn't in the cave with the brothers anymore but in a dark room. More like the room in a mansion. She could barely see anything in the darkness so she charged up an Electro Ball to use as light.
"Mario... Luigi... Where are you guys? Where are we?" Lightning calls.
"Lightning, help us!" They replied distressed. She could hear someone crying. It sounded like Luigi.
"Luigi! Don't worry guys I'm coming!" She calls out. She runs in the direction she heard the cries of despair.
She suddenly saw a big purplish mist and skidded to a stop. She knew what that mist belonged to... King Boo.
Her heart skipped a beat as the Gengar turned to her. "Ah... If it isn't the Scaredy Chu, Lightning." He teased.
"Scaredy Chu? I am not scared of you. What have you done to the brothers!" She ordered, sparks flying out of her red cheeks like fireworks.
"Oh acting brave now, huh? Isn't that cute. Don't worry about your friends, they are perfectly safe. They are where they belong... In their paintings!" He cackled.
Lightning gasped once King Boo let her see the brothers paintings. They looked beaten up and trembled in their Portraits. Luigi looked the worse of the two.
"Poor Luigi... Poor Mario..." she thought.
"Let them go, you monster!! They don't belong in paintings."
"Oh sure they do and now that you're here you might as well join them on my wall." He cackled. The crown on King Boo's big round head began to glow purple behind her she saw a golden frame approaching her. She felt the painting starting to suck her in like a portal.
Lightning gasped. "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" She cried as she was taken inside the painting by force.
*** "Hey!! Wake up!! Wake up!!!" Luigi nudged Lightning.
Lightning jolts awake with a cry. "NOOOOOOOO!!!!"
"Hey, calm down. It's okay. It was just a nightmare." Luigi told her.
"Luigi!!" Lightning cried, pulling him into a hug. "You're okay! Thank goodness!!"
"Ugh..." Luigi was lost for words. He began to blush a little.
Lightning quickly let go of him. "I-I'm sorry..." she apologized, looking away from him.
"Don't be." Luigi smiled at her. "You just needed some cheering up."
"Are you two done yet. We should be going." Mario said.
"Oh, yeah right. We need to find an Alomomola that might help Lightning heal." Luigi said.
"Wait, what's an Alomomola?" Mario asked.
"It's a water type Pokémon. It's a pink fish with dark pink markings on their heart shaped body and fins. It can heal injured Pokémon with its special membrane that envelopes its body."
"Would an Alomomola help heal your sprained paw?" Mario asked.
"I'm sure it would, but they are pretty rare the thing that matters is that we are able to find one before Yveltal can find us and make us face our fates of being turned to stone."
Luigi gulped And began to tremble. "I'm not very sure about this..." he muttered.
"Oh come on Luigi. You want Lightning to heal don't you?" Mario asked.
"Yeah, But-"
"Then let's a go!" Mario grabbed his brother's paw and ran out of the cave.
"Mario!!!" Luigi groaned. He tries pulling his paw out of Mario's until he finally let go.
"Is he always like this?" Lightning asked.
"Yup, my brother's always like this in the mornings and I don't know how or why but that's just him." Luigi answered.
"Well we better go after him before we lose him."
"Yeah, come on Lightning." Luigi told her. They moved on to catch up to Mario.
*** They made it to a lake to try and find the pink fish Pokémon, Alomomola. After 30 minutes of searching, all they could find were a bunch of Magikarp including a few golden ones. "Where is this Pokémon?" Luigi groaned, sitting down on a rock. Suddenly, he heard a splash and a pink Pokémon leaped out.

Luigi jumped up in alarm. "Hey! I think I saw one!" He said, pointing to the water.
"You did? Are you sure?" Lightning asked.
"Yes, it looked just like the Pokémon you described earlier." Luigi said.
Lightning walked towards the water to see the Alomomola swimming happily in the water.
"Yup, that's an Alomomola. Good job, Luigi."
"Hehe thanks" he blushed.
Mario noticed this and smirked. "Awww!! Looks like Weegee has a crush." He teased.
"What!! N-No I-I do not!! Mario stop it!!" Luigi argued.
"Will you two stop arguing, you're going to scare the Alomomola away." She told them.
"Sorry..." they replied in unison.
"Excuse me Ms. Alomomola?" She called. The Alomomola popped its head out of the water. "Yes? What can I help you with, Young Pika?" She asked.
"Could you heal me. I've got injured in a battle." Lightning showed her the sprained paw.
"Oh I see. Of course" she wrapped her fins around Lightning's sprained paw to heal it for you. As soon as she was finished, Lightning could move her paw again as if the injury never even happened.
"Thank you."
"You are welcome." The Alomomola swam away without another word.
Mario and Luigi looked to see that Lightning's paw was fully healed. "Wow!" They smiled, "it's gone. The sprain is fully healed."
Suddenly, they heard something come out of the water. A gang of Squirtle and Wartortle came out of the water. "Uh oh..."
"Now we've got you. If no one moves, no one gets hurt." A Wartortle replied. "Leonardo, get that Pikachu. She's the first one to deal with. Then we get the brothers and take them to Bowser."
