The Brothers stared down the Mega Gengar before them. King Boo glared back at them with his dark menacing stare. They combined a Shadow Ball together and released it at him. King Boo countered it with his strong Focus Blast. He circled around them looking for an opening. He used Focus Blast again, but Lightning quickly countered it with Thunderbolt.
"Your Pikachu is so annoying. No wonder why you've befriended her. She's quite strong and intelligent too." King Boo said. "She's like an electrical lab rat."
"Lab rat?!" Lightning growled. "I'm not a rat and I don't belong in a Lab!"
King Boo was about to grab her but Lightning quickly attacked him with Iron Tail to knock him back. He growled. "You're going to get it once I get my hands on you!"
"No you're not!" Luigi used Shadow Ball, getting a hit on him.
"I'm sick of playing games with you!" King Boo used Focus Blast and Luigi was knocked back into the wall. He collapsed to the ground.
"Luigi!" Lightning and Mario cried.
Suddenly King Boo found his chance to attack Mario and Lightning. He used Psychic and picked them both up. Luigi slowly got to his paws and looked up in horror.
"L-Let them go!" He growled.
"I don't think so... You better give up or say goodbye to your-" Suddenly King Boo was attacked by a surprise Ice Beam out of nowhere as both Mario and Lightning hit the ground.
"Where did that come from ?" He asked. He turned to see a Glaceon and Umbreon.
"Who are you two?"
The two different colored Eeveelutions didn't respond as they both used Shadow Ball and hit King Boo.
"I see... You're friends of the Brothers as well... Aren't you?" King Boo asked.
"Nope" the two shook their heads.
"Then Who are you?" King Boo asked.
"I'm Black and this is Mr. L" the Glaceon said.
"Mr. L?" Luigi said in his thoughts.
"Get out of here! Can't you see I'm busy dealing with a bunch of fools!" King Boo replied.
"Yeah, we can see that... But... We're not just going to leave" Mr. L retorted. "Have at you!"
Mr. L used Dark Pulse and Black used Ice Beam.
Mario, Luigi and Lightning looked at each other. "We should help" Lightning said. Mario and Luigi nodded in agreement. The Brothers, Black And Mr. L used Shadow Ball. Lightning used Electro Ball. King Boo was hit by the attacks.
King Boo used Focus Blast again as Black used Ice Beam and Mr. L used Shadow Ball again. They almost hit the Brothers in the process. "Hey, watch it!" Mario yelled, but they ignored him.
They continued fighting King Boo together as he was losing a lot of Health. He turned to Lightning once again and used Dark Pulse by surprise hitting her, then he used Psychic. "Now I'll tell you one last time. Stop attacking me or the Pikachu gets it!" He yelled.
"Let me go!" She used Thunderbolt on King Boo but he still didn't let her go as he tightened his grip on her.
Mario and Luigi growled. "Let her go!!!" They both combined a large Shadow Ball and released it at King Boo as he was finally defeated once again.
Lightning was released again as she collapsed to the ground with a coughing fit.
"Lightning! Are you okay?" Luigi asked.
"I'm fine. Thanks guys!" She answered. Then she remembered something. "I guess you want to go our separate ways now." She added sullenly.
"No! We won't ever leave your side again as long as we're here. We're going to protect you and keep you safe from now on because... We never leave a friend behind" Luigi said. "I'm sorry that I said that to you. I didn't mean to. I was just upset about you losing your job. We felt so bad."
Lightning hugged him. "I forgive you. Thank you for coming back here to save me. You were so brave and I'm glad we're friends."
Luigi smiled at her as she smiled back. "You're so kind... And kinda cute too" she said quietly.
"What was that?" Luigi asked. He didn't hear the last part very well.
"Nothing!" She looks away and blushed.

Luigi just looked at her. "Are you hiding something?"
"Pfft no! Why do you asked?" Lightning answered.
"Nothing!" Luigi replied, looking away.
"Hey! Where'd those Pokémon go?" Luigi asked, just now noticing that Black and Mr. L were gone.
"They must have left. We should go though. I don't think you guys want to stay here for any longer" Mario said.
"That's for sure!" Luigi replied.
"I'd rather not stay here a moment longer either. Let's get out of here" Lightning agreed.

I'm thinking of having another character star in this story at some point as well. A pretty popular character. Who do you think it is?
